  2. THanks UK, it does seem to fit the profile.

Are you a native of the UK and if so, how does one become attached to this team, sport, etc.?

Yes indeed G , i am a born and bred Englander.

The NFL was first brought to our UK screens in 84/85 with a show presented by Frank Gifford.

I was 15 at the time and watched the playoffs in 85/86 when the Bears were incredible.

My uncle in Canada ( a big Giants fan ) started sending me jerseys , t shits etc...

Then came Simms, LT, Harry, Morris, Bavaro .. etc and i was hooked on the Giants forever.

I simply find 'American Football' to be the most exciting & passionate game on the planet

( with the exception of Cricket ... my other sporting love)..... and perhaps Golf

Following the Giants for the last 20 years has been wonderful

( I now have 3 daughters ... who are also young Giants fans )

and long may it continue ....

  3. Barney ,

keep on hating Eli .....i'm sure it will help your good character develop

you are clearly developing into a well rounded mature individual

    all the best

  4. MEMBERS WANTED:

Know nothing about football, live in your mother's basement, like to lose debates, well small, message board grouping wants you. The Faux Four welcomes selected candidates to contribute to the mission of promoting falsehoods and complaining about the New York Football Giants. No experience is necesary, but you must be committed to a charade about football teams in the NFL being like the All-Time Madden team from the video game.

Also, have to be willing to commit to the verbal reach arounds, such as:

good point, well-stated, you're the man, well done, I agree, and couldn't agree more.

If you too, love to hate your regional sports team, please feel free to send your resume, a photo, and stool sample.

well written sir...... and highly amusing...... thankyou Mr Clemens

  5. I'm a memeber of the Fab Four........a relentless Giant rooting ensemble of real men............and we love to exchange high level inside information about the Giants and the front office. Our background which includes connections to team management and highly successful collegiate football careers gives us a rare insight into the real skinny about the Giants and the NFL. We love sharing this information with appreciative members of this forum. We hope you become one, because to date we've yet to stumble upon any.

dream on Dye ........ what a load of utter nonsense

  6. The FAB 4 are the truest of Giant fans - intelligent and realistic - .

deluded , arrogant , multi personality chaotic , with all thewrongAnswers and predictions

haters of EA , Eli , Joseph , Feely , Plax , Shock , Lavar .....etc

yeah .... the truest of Giant fans !

  7. It wasn't a prediction. It was a fact.

The only fact that we can associate with Lockjaw is that he is a deluded fool with an attention seeking disorder and a multi personality crisis

( other than that.... i quite like him / her / it )

  8. Let's recap this disaster called the Giants 2006 draft

    1. Idi Amin - some guy from BC who the ESPN cast gasped at when drafted.

    2. Sinorice Moss - EA keeping with his "little brother" collection - also good as Santa's helper at Xmas parties.

    3. Ferris Bueller - conned his way into the draft as a linebacker

    4. Barry Cofield -Who? ..........he played DE too.

    5. Guy Whimper - his name says it all.

    6. Chuck Peepers - the nerd on the Alabama football team

    This is beyond pitiful!

You are beyond pitiful Lockjaw !

  9.

Pick One was a head scratcher, and still is. With so many other needs, and so much other talent available at the time, selecting Idi will go down in Giants history for all the wrong reasons.

Carbo , i dont think pick 1 is perplexing at all ( after some time of reflection )

Lets face it , Strahan is getting old now , prone to back spasms etc , he can't handle every down, he may have only a few games left for us ! remember 2004. Tuck looks good but is young and unproven ( and was a late round pick , 4th i think anyway ) We need to have a strong pass rush , We need another Osi type..... this guy could be the 1. Plus he was one of the BPA on our boards. A suprising pick yes , but a good pick upon reflection IMO

  10. WR rarely ever come into the NFL and perform well. Just look at all the top 10 WR's chosen over the past couple of years. NO chance they would take Toomer's spot.

Lendale is going to be an awful pro. He's just like Ron Dayne.

Watson is arguable, but I think we will be able to get a solid DT later in the draft. And Mathias is a better player than Watson.

    You're opinion sucks !!!

i always though quite highly of you......... never mind.....

    Moss !!!

  11. I actually think he might have been BPA who didnt have major character issues. I think hes better than:

    Jackson

Lendale (ron dayne II, trust me)

    Moss

    Watson

    Eric Winston

2 players who are more talented but have character issues:

    Jimmy Williams

    Justice

    good point !
