  1. the FAB 4 only prays the FO repents the errors of there ways this weekend, in 2006 NFL draft...

they have made it loud and clear until this past weekend, that there primary concern will be Defense...specifically LB and DT...

one can only hope that the ludacris signings of 11 different horrendous DB's and 1 over hyped LB does not sway there primary objective...

we need to aggressively go after a LB (Bobby Carpenter), followed by a DT, followed by DB, followed by LB...its a simple formula...i do not want to hear ideas about RB's, WR's, or Offensive Linemen...

Eli Manning will need all the help he can get from his defensive side...we need to stock pile talent...guys drop like fly's when they put on NYG Blue...

Barney , i believe that you are correct that we should go after a LB , followed by a DT ...... However the bitterness and hatred in your posts towards our team continues to let your valid point down !

  2. No need to be alarmed, yes John Elway and Marino were great improvisors, but Eli does play very well when he maintains proper technique.

He's young and only now can we call him experienced. If he falters, then we'll know soon. if he thrives, then we'll know that he was still green.

I've seen what you all saw and the most important part is still the winning attitude like we saw against Dever. He's a maturing leader who needs to improve.

As for throwing out the baby with the bath water, well, I'll side with Bill Walsh who said, "show me a QB's footwork and I'll tell you whether that team won the game or not!"

    very true ....good post

  3. First of all, it's really pathetic that you have to respond on lockfag's behalf. In response to you, I don't condone Shockey and Plax being in Fla., but the fact is that the workouts are VOLUNTARY. We have beaten this horse to death numerous times. Yes, the team, Eli....would be better off if they were there, but THEY ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE THERE. And even if I did feel strongly enough to rant about it, I would not post about it every fifteen minutes of every day like you morons do. Got me, dye. BTW, I think it drags you down being associated with the likes of lockfag and UPOS (nosebleed). You and Floyd at least seem to have some intelligence. Those two are completely and utterly hopeless. Finally, my kids are intelligent, well behaved and have never run amok. At least, not yet. When I went away to college is when I discovered the joys of running amok. Peace, bro.

well said Rely.... and goodnight from the UK ( i'm off to watch some Golf ! )

  4. Your one and the same asshole. You are the last people that anyone would consider as an example, unless they are talking about examples of losers. Based on observations on various MB.

Rely makes a good point. We cannot take you seriously Cabockhartheanswersdisasteretc etc etc while you exist in this multi personality form backing up your own assertions. Nearly all your statements are ridiculously negative and deliberately provocative. Then one of your other incarnations appears on the scene to congratulate yourself on your first point of view. I do believe that you know the game and you are well informed.... but please give us a break from this charade.

  5. I think , in fairness , that we are all to blame a bit for the deterioration in the quality of debate recently.

Whilst i generally disagree with most of the provocative nonsence of the Fag 4... i would prefer to articulate an argument to disprove their points rather than resort solely to personal attacks on them.

It is simply a case of keeping the moral high ground etc etc....

Maybe i am a fool for even suggesting a better standard of discussion on Sportwrath.

But i know it will get very boring on this board soon if we carry on like this !

    All the best

  6. I would just like to say the following...

I was actually looking forward to some vaguely intelligent discussion on this topic

'ESPN rates the NY Giants Schedule the Hardest'

A valid topic and one worthy of sensible debate

However having read the utter mindless exchange of mudslinging and tripe in this thread

None of which relates to the topic ...... i wont bother

Time to grow up a bit gentlemen, IMO, or the board might soon fall apart

  7. What a mouthwatering schedule.

We could easily start 0-3 and be finished in Sept

Or we could be favourites for the Superbowl by the bye week

The NFC East will be the toughest division of all.

We really could finish last or 1st IMO ( all positions really are possible for all 4)

Carbo , 5-11 shows no faith or belief whatsoever , but it could happen

So much rides on Eli performing and Tiki staying healthy.

I reckon 10-6 would be realistic ( winning the last 3 games )

Momentum then takes us well into the playoffs and we have a chance to do what Pittsburgh did !

    Go Giants

  8. It would seem that pre-teen clan that keep pushing the Arrington rumours from BBI and Gaint 101 might be in trouble as they continue to pass obviously false rumours concerning the Giants and Lavar.

and i suppose that you never provoke and push false rumour (TheAnswers-BlueFootballs) -etc etc etc

thanks for your continued hypocrisy !

  9. That's a pretty good bet. Good luck. In last week's tournament, although he finished well, on one hole, he put two balls in the water and quadruple-bogeyed the hole. I would bet on Tiger to win it for his Dad.

i agree , Tiger is the man to beat ( especially as Augusta has been lengthened by 195 yrds again ).

( I also had a small each way bet on Olazabal ..... his short game is looking good again ... and of course he has won it already in 94 and 99 ) top 5 form i reckon

  10. I'm a sentimental fool in love with the cinderella story.........look for Billy Casper to set the professional record by winning 36 years after his last Masters win !!

i ve got £ 50 at 66-1 riding on Luke Donald ( placed 6 weeks ago before he won the Honda Classic

( i will be biting my nails on Sunday if he is in the mix ..... now into 28-1 )
