Sounds like he will be back for the crucial game v Dallas ( if indeed he is practising now )

Some good news .....The competition in the NFC is awful at the moment ( with the exception of Chicago 9-1) we are next best at 6-4 with Carolina , Dallas , NO and Seattle.

Next best are Atl , SF, Philly at 5-5 .....do any of those teams scare you ? No

The teams at 4-6 are just plain rubbish ... Min , Rams , GB.

When we get Strahan , Osi , Madison and Short back we will have a very strong D ( and they WILL be back ).

The last 2 lossed were predicatable ( even at the beginning of the season )

So actually we are well placed after 10 games because our main rivals in the Conference are mediocre

The 2nd seed is very much up for grabs !

Even the worst scenario is playoffs at 10-6..... and 9-7 could even make it by my calculation this year.

Hopefully with our injured players returning we can build some momentum towards the playoffs.

i agree , ( with the exception of Shockey who played his heart out yesterday ) nobody was open , nobody seemed to care enough , our recievers were always in the middle of double or triple coverage. Eli had quite a lot of time to throw yesterday ..... and nobody was helping him. ( then of course he was rubbish as well ...which was a real let down )

but dont pin it all on Eli .... the whole team and coaching was utter shite !

thank God it's not Dallas next week !

At this point we will be 7-4 going into the biggest game of the season at home v Dallas

With any luck we will have Strahan , Osi , Madison , Short .... and even Moss back for this one

Romo will be due a nightmare , i think we have time to regroup before Dec 3 but it is too close to call

I expect to lose at the Panthers (and i'm flying over from UK to Charlotte for the game, i must be mad !)

But then i like our chances to win the last 3 . The Saints game might be tricky but by Christmas Eve we will surely have some of our key men back !

So even if we lose to Dallas ( heaven forbid ) we should finish 10-6 with a ( 5-1 divisional record )

That means playoffs and perhaps some momentum building again with fewer injuries

The Giants do not perform in big games. They haven't in the past two years. You chose to focus on Eli, however, the problem is more than Eli, as I said, the lack of adaptability makes this team a joke. They will not win the big ones until this team laerns to adjust.

MNF away to Dallas ... that was a big game .....the Giants performed

( also the Skins game and the Atlanta games this year were pretty big ...... and we won those )

and Philly away .... not bad

What killed me is that the Giants didn't go after Peterson. They let the Eagles sign him. In the offseason we thought our D got a lot better but obviously that's not the case. Lavar is out for the season and our secondary didn't improve that much.

 

I think we need an outsanding CB and an outsanding safety. And I don't mean going after guys who have a year left in their careers.

i also wish we had made a move for Ronde Barber !

What's his problem? We watched him wilt like a tulip last year from around week 5. More of the same this year. He hasn't looked like a legitimate NFL QB in a month. But the good news is he is still ranked higher than future Hall of Fame QB J.P. Losman! (But J.P. has half as many interceptions).
