Giants sign CB Darcy McDithers to replace Justin Tryon

Recommended Posts

The Giants suffered a crucial hit today as Justin Tryon underwent surgery for his broken arm. He suffered it early in the victory over the Miami Dolphins, then exacerbated it tackling Reggie Bush on a punt return in the fourth quarter.

The New York Giants looked to fortify their depleted secondary by signing veteran cornerback Darcy McDithers from the San Jose SabreCats of the Arena Football League (AFL).

Prior to his tenure in the Arena Leauge, McDithers played for the Jacksonville Jaguars. McDithers was a 2007 5th round draft choice from the University of Akron.
