lemmiwinks
Insider <Apr. 14> Chargers GM A.J. Smith confirmed to The San Diego Union-Tribune on Thursday that the team is indeed shopping Edwards. The paper speculates that the Chargers are looking to get a first-day draft pick in return for the veteran linebacker. Do you think the Giants should try and get him? 3rd maybe 4th round pick for him? I would take him for a 4th but not a 3rd

shockjock
and why would we trade a draft pick for a middle linebacker?

27Hampton
Precisely. Call me crazy, but I think we're pretty well set at MLB. Not to mention that a first day pick for a 33 yr old LB is laughable.
Money
I'd rather use that 1st day pick on a young LB with upside, not something approaching the end of his career.
