I hope he clears waivers so we can IR him.

Teams aren't required to pay a player any of his salary while he is out with a non-football injury.

 

I didn't know that. Hope he comes through healthy but it doesn't seem like anyone knows right now.

Thankfully he's still alive, hopefully he'll be able to walk normally for the rest of his life. He got $826,000 and hasn't done anything but graduate college. Take the money, invest it as wisely as you can these days, and do whatever it is you majored in while in college. Be smart, Chad, not many get that kind of financial boost at such a young age.

I really don't know. I recall reading the Giants were going to cover it, but who knows?

It was a car wreck, so hopefully his insurance would cover a fairly large chunk of that.
