If not, I'm going to try to recruit some people from the Met boards like I used to.... I want this section to be bumping like it used to.. I'm going to ask Nem. to make us another Mets skin, since the other one doesn't exist anymore. Maybe a skin with Santana pitching to Wright, or something cool like that. xxi-xxv Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 I was so pissed at the Mets yesterday. I was watching the game and I saw Val Pascucci playing LF for team Italy. WTF is that all about? I want people to be as active in here as they are in the Giants section.. I think if I could get Nem to make a Mets skin, and have it be the default skin for unregistered members and new members. The Mets will not make the playoffs in 07 ... check Val Pascucci is not a prospect or even a marginal player... check Angel Pagan is not an everyday player ... check Ryan Church is nothing more than a 270 hitter ... check Geez too bad I am not right like this in all aspects of my life as compared when talking about the Mets with you, I would be rich enough to buy them and go get them a legitimate corner outfield bat. Its really all good, but most of the Met fans here actually know their stuff so can we at least promise to have some objective talk. Like for instance if Angel Pagan goes 5-5 with 4 homers and a triple the second week of April against the Nats subbing for the slumping Ryan Church can we not annoint him the next Roberto Clemente?
