Normally, I wouldn't expect 7 in a row. But Giants fans should worry for this reason. Nearly every game the Cowboys lost, including to NY, went down to the wire. Usually the last possession of the game.

Yet the QB play, in a league that rides on the QB, was not just average. It was below average. Some games, as bad as it could possibly be.

I miss this place.

In week 1 the Giants were being outgained by nearly 1,000 yards at half. You had a ball bounce off a 3rd string WR chest for a TD, and then two late scoring drives without Dez. If the Giants were a real team they would have manned up at least once in the fourth. That is not an example of giving a game away, that was an ATTEMPTED GIVE AWAY by the Cowboys to an inferior team.

Giving the game away is when a third string QB throws 3 picks in 5 passes and you allow a KO return. And you still only lose by 7 after a muffed punt. That is GIVING a game away.

Boy, I can't put into words how I'm going to enjoy these next 7 weeks!

This was a great pass. But he also had great protection. When I'm taking about pressure, I mean when the blocking begins to break down. Such as when he tried to do his little basketball jump shot against Seattle a couple of years ago.

And according to ESPN, the Dog has it wrong. They said he has led the league in INT's since 2004.

Either way, there is no excuse for this many interceptions given the talent he has had around him and the quality of his offensive line.

Maybe he realizes that Dallas isn't as good as he thinks. Get two defensive touchdowns, force two fumbles and catch 3 interceptions and still only win by 5.

 

Both teams have a long way to go, I wouldn't hold the parade just yet.

Hey Jabroni, I have to admit, the Giants kept it closer than I expected. They don't give up, those Giants. Which will serve them well given that they will be 2 games behind by next Monday, and possibly chasing all 3 division rivals.

Kind of a disingenuous stat because how many starting QBs were even in the league 5 years ago? Out of the ones who were, how many have missed significant time because of injury or some other reason?

 

Eli has started every game for the last 5 seasons. That's a big reason why he'd be on top of that list, and it's a credit to him. Even Tom Brady missed almost all of 2008. Peyton Manning missed a season plus. Matt Stafford missed significant games. Vick missed games every season since his return from prison. Carson Palmer was in retirement. A host of other QBs weren't even in the NFL. It would be a much easier list to identify Eli's peers that have played every game, or at least ALMOST every game, for the last 5 seasons.

 

Matt Ryan, Phillip Rivers, Joe Flacco, Aaron Rodgers (missed 2 games), Drew Brees (missed 1 game). That's it.

I think it's got less to do with the fact that he hasn't been injured and more to do with the fact that he throws it to the wrong team when he is under pressure.

I'd take him more seriously if he didn't act like such a cunt, but that isn't the case at all.

There will be no fourth quarter heroics this time. Today's Giants are vastly different from these videos. Both teams are. Game is out of reach midway through the third. How could it go any other way?

Well....imagine this, the Cowboys have a 9 point lead with 5 minutes left in the game. Romo (who's been on all game) suddenly throws a "pick-6" and suddenly, it's a 2 point game. Romo, shaken up...drives the boys down to the Giants 40 yard line and throws another "pick 6". With three minutes to go, the Giants resort to a ground game that kills 2 minutes of the clock. The boys finally get the ball back with 55 seconds left and plenty of time to pull the old "Staubach last minute drill by passing to the sideline"....oh wait....Romo gets picked again.....Gints take a knee....older cowboy fans are cursing, younger ones are crying.

Ok...Lemme think about this for a moment...
