  1. ...Can't get to their games, being that I live in NY,but I go to Yankee games and Giant games,so it's all good. :TU:

I still make it back home time to time, go to Yankee games when I do. Only been to a few GMen games in the past 10 years or so, but go to the game when they play the Cards here!

  2. This is a real good signing, esp. at that price. We have so mnay weapons on offense now, that your 3rd and 4th rec's arent gonna get alot of balls thrown thier way. Plus, he's been injured. My concern w/ him is staying healthy, more than dropped balls or anything. He hasnt had enough playing time to be consistent. With his speed, if he can play more, he'll be a great deep threat.

  3. OK, here's my roster, after makin a few changes:

  4. The giants signing an aging 34 yr old demented personality is

rolling the dice and praying that it works out. :furious:

He is little TO ! Doesnt have the impact or the mouth but can

be a real pain in the ass and also very productive on the field.

BUT the Giants need a DT and OLB getting a 3rd WR to use

along with all the other weapons that we have should not

be such a pressing need!

If you have been around long enough you understand that the

GIANTS = DEFENSE if we are to return to greatness again :flex:

then we need to forget about another play maker on offense

and put together the best dam defense se can !!

Selfish players dont belong on this team !!! <_<

Sign Grady Jackson DT and draft the best LB's and defensive players!

    Totally agreed.

  5. If the Giants sign Keyshawn, do they need to keeep Plaxico? I don't think so. They could trade Plaxico for a draft choice and draft and/or sign a speedster. Keyshawn is Plaxico with hands and toughness.

No way, Plax is tough, they're basically the same.

Keyshawn is enticing, makes the O even more powerful, but its not our pressing need. I say Jackson, or Arrington.

I'm in the process of dropping Timlin for Jeremy Bonderman. Timlin holds little value in this league because Foulke will get the saves. I might trade away Foulke as well, as I have a lot of Boston players and I try not to load up on players from 1 team.

    Whats everyone think?

Not bad, got some power and decent pitching. Deciding on how Bomderman will do. I picked up Vidro in mine cause I knew Soriano would have problems.

  7. So, is the question if the Giants played the bears in the first round of the playoffs last season, both squads 100 % healthy who would win? If thats the question, the Bears would win. Carolinas D ate us alive, as much as I love Eli, he was bad in that game, Chicago's D was beter than Carolinas, so I gotta believe Eli would have looked just as bad even with a healthy Shockey. The score would have been much closer because Carolinas O was more prolific than Chicago's and we had terrible matchups on D.

The final score would have been somewhere around 10-0 or 10-3 in favor of the Bears. Now this year should be different, Eli has alot more experience and I have heard the possibility that he was affected by the elbow strain he suffered in pre season (ofcourse that could very well be an excuse for his sub par play down the stretch), and we have some key additions.

    Yes, that is the question.

  8. Hard to say: The Bears led the league in 3 and out (for a playoff team) and IF the Giants put together a short passing attack featuring Tiki as a reciever, the Bears would get beat. No doubt in my mind the short passing attack would set up Plax long...and if we'd scored first, Bears are done!

Last year, the Giants were a slightly better team (before all of our injuries).

This is the assesment I agree with most.
