  1. Sign this new LB last guy to your right!
  2. God I hope not!!! We need pitching!
  3. I don't like this thread! It's never over till it's over!
  4. Next years starting pitching rotation: Martinez Glavine Zito Pelfrey Bannister What you think?
  5. He is still raw. Fell behind early in the count many times, walked five or six but did get himself out of trouble at times. Went deep in the pitch count and only pitched five innings due to that but he has more to offer then Soler or Lima.
  6. We are screwed this weekend, Lima, Maine, Pelfrey then who? Glavine? 1-3 This weekend I see!
  7. Yes 2006 Mets become the 1986 Mets. Get drunk, get high but just win a championship!

    LMFAO!

Here was Omar's response: HA HA HA CLICK!!!!!
  9. A series tie with the Almighty Yankees, oh Almighty Yankees thank you for allowing us to play in the same city as thee! Let's let forget slappy that Frickin Billy Wagner gave up a 4 run lead in the ninth cause the Mets should have swept the Yanks at Shea. No I didn't save the back page of our 16-7 whipping but damn 19-1 sounds so much worse. Hey isn't that the same club you guys lost to 22-0 last year or the year before that. Bottom line Yankees fans is that the Mets are up 10 1/2 games up in the N.L. East while the Yankees are 4 games back of the Redsox and the A.L. East won't have the Wild Card to fall back on cause that will belong to the Tigers or Whitesox this year!
  10. Major League Baseball officials say the Final Vote count in each league is too close to call, and what that means is that Mets fans still have a chance to add a seventh Met to the National League All-Star team roster. Billy Wagner is one of five National League players involved in the Monster 2006 All-Star Final Vote. The Mets closer was included last year as well, when his former Astros teammate Roy Oswalt won a place on the National League roster. Wagner was added later after Pedro Martinez withdrew. Fans have until 6 p.m. ET Thursday to vote for the final player on the National League team. Now in its fifth year, the Monster 2006 All-Star Final Vote gives baseball fans around the world the opportunity to select the final player on each All-Star team. Balloting began immediately following Sunday's Major League All-Star Selection Show presented by Chevrolet. The winners will be announced on ESPN and MLB.com shortly thereafter. There are two ways for fans to vote for the 2006 All-Star Final Vote -- online now at MLB.com, or on-the-go from their cell phones. Fans can also text the word "VOTE" to 36197 to receive the All-Star Final Vote candidates sent to your phone. To vote for a specific player, simply reply with your choice. For $.30 per text message vote, fans will have the freedom to vote from wherever they are. Fans can get the mobile ballot now. In Canada, fans should text the word "VOTE" to 28776.
  11. Happy 4th of July! Mets won an ugly game today, and that is what we needed. Mets 7, Pirates 6
  12. I hate to say this but until recent I was unable to watch the games due to work, and when I was able to watch the games, they lost so today even though I was home, I refused to watch the game and they won! So I'll be giving up trying to watch any games. Hey guys do me a favor, if the Mets make it to the World Series can someone record them and send me a copy so I can watch when it is all done with!
  13. ha ha ha Bell was sent down today!
  14. Glad to here Bannister is soon to be back and people don't rush Pelfrey remember the rush on Generation K?
  15. Lima may be better out of the bullpen, cause shit we can't do any worse then lately! He was brought up cause Bell was sent down along with Soler!
  16. This was an ugly game but screw it, we won 7-6, the Marlins lost and so far the Phillies are losing! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!
  17. How many Mets fans would like to see Lastings Milledge return seeing that Xavier Nady has a fructured wrist? I would!
  18. I have been able to see the bigger picture ahead of the Mets. Even though we went 3-6 on this last road trip, we still own an 11 game lead, we only lost one full game throughout all this, that is amazing. Now with the last 7 games before the All-Star Game being at home against the Pirates and Marlins, we need to win at least 5 or 6 of these games. New York Mets 2006 All-Stars: 1. David Wright 2. Jose Reyes 3. Paul LoDuca 4. Carlos Beltran 5. Pedro Martinez 6. Tom Glavine
  19. Shouldn't Bell have followed him!
  20. A-Rod is the type of player that you love him if he is on your team and hate him if he isn't on your team. He is and will forever be a talented player, the guy is awesome but don't forget he is a Yankee so I must hate him.
