The issue is the RBs in the buzz currently - even though CMC has an injury history thats worse than Barkley, but he lucked out and got traded and a contract just in time. This time around its Ekeler, Henry and Cook - all 3 who have had injury issues in the recent past (or getting up there in age) - its because of these 3 that Barkley's being bucketed along with them and finding it hard to get something long term. 3 years 35 Mill seems reasonable though.

Doubt it - Hardman has achieved nothing with even Mahomes as his QB. Hardman, Campbell and DJ Chark were probably around the same level for teams - if anything, Campbell's deal is what made the Jets offer it to Hardman. Campbell is faster and taller than Hardman (4.31 vs 4.33 and 1.83 vs 1.78) - I was actually hoping we get Campbell between those 3

Almost all of BB's coordinators have sucked balls without him. Charlie Weiss, Romeo Crennel, Josh McDaniels, Joe Judge - you name it. Daboll is probably the only one who has actually been successful at every position he has held.

Plus, he took Dawson Knox who was the 96th pick in the draft and turned him into a premier TE as well. Kafka has been instrumental in Kelce's career and designing plays. Im actually super excited about this signing - if Waller stops his shit rapping and stays injury free, this coaching staff will maximize the fuck out of him

I think its a brilliant signing - considering 1 - he just had his best season on a God Awful Colts team with horrendous QBing and with Pittman Jr. on the roster. He is versatile - and even does some rushing work as well - he is ONLY 25 years old and is a speedster. We might have gotten him for cheap just as he is about to hit his prime - I hope that is the case.

I agree with the luck factor. Plaxico could very much have turned out to be another Golladay - or he could have shot himself 2 year earlier too. Glad it worked out for us in the end.

Jones is currently No.9 among the QBs in terms of salary. In a year he will be top 15. Jay - you said youd put him at 20th. This was the first year he had a healthy Barkley after his 1st year - and he still had to run for 700 yrds, thats the kind of catching help he had. OBJ is working out for teams and Giants are attending. Id be fucking stoked if the Giants can get him cheap. OBJ doesnt seem greedy for money - those endorsements have him set! OBJ, Barkley and Jones as leaders on offense - Id love to fucking see that.

I just dont understand this whole 'Carr is a proven winner and a better QB than Jones' - Carr has never been the same ever since his leg injury. It was only that year that he was actually having a Wentz type season. If anything, Carr is a proven loser. With weapons 100 times better than DJ, Carr has sucked donkey balls. And for that matter - this BS about "Carr has never had a defense his entire time with the Raiders" - WTF has DJ had with the Giants??? Its not like he's had the Steel Curtain Monsters of the Midway Baltimore Tampa Bay type defense either??? The Giants defense has sucked donkey dick DJ's entire time with the Giants. There have been numerous times when DJ has actually put us ahead in the 4th qtr only to have the defense fuck it away. Carr has repeatedly sucked. Jones hasnt had a single moment to even settle in ever since being drafted - every year a different play book, different OC, different play caller, different personnel. As I said before - thats what DJ's agents are using right now. Having said that, obvious 45-48 mill is too much for DJ, so I have a feeling, he signs something in the vicinity of the Carr contract - now that Geno has also signed. At the same time - even DJ should realise, he doesnt want to again go to a different coach and different OC AGAIN. Either way, DJ is our QB for 2023 - whether on the franchise tag or under contract. For that matter - Carr didnt do shit with Adams and Jacobs. Carr has failed for 8 straight years. Once new deals are done with Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Jackson etc - DJ wont even be in the top 15. I dont care if he asked for 45 - i go with my previous post - he has to start high because Schoen seems like a mean negotiator - i realised that when he got Hodgins back at a vet minimum. Either way - looks like he is getting the tag and Barkley the contract/pr hits FA -and there is already talks of him going to the Bills. And if the salary cap goes up again next year - maybe a deal will materialize. But on that note - Jones also should realise he doesnt want ANOTHER coach and OC to face what he has over the last 4 years either.
