C'mon Icey, have a heart. That poor bastard was a street free agent we picked up a week or two before the game, and he's been nothing but remorseful since. It should never have come down to a field goal to begin with, and even the officiating blew the call on that play. To lay it all on that guy is just unfair, and it's already been over 3 years.
Long snapper. Long snapper. Long snapper.
STOP IT!! STOOOOPPPP IT!!!!!!
I dont blame the guy entirely. But I was in ICU with an IV shot up my arm for a week after that fateful evening. But either way whenever I hear the word Long snapper, I get goosebumps, break into a cold sweat, get a little woozy.

should be changed during football season!!
I will fight for this!!
or at least suggest it.
Good idea actually. The majority of the population here resides on the CE section anyway. Talking about football should also be part of it. Water-cooler talk.

Don't misunderstand my reference to Kuehl. He's done everything we've asked of him flawlessly. I just wish that our longsnapper had a bigger role in other aspects of the game. Not that I would want to live the nightmare of Kuehl on the defensive line, but you get the picture.
Giants fans do not mention the word "long snapper". It is blasphemy. :brooding:

The team look real sharp. Anyone notice Shockey taking away the entire middle on that TD toss to Toomer?
But lets not get over hyped. KC has never been able to even spell defense since the beginning of time.
-
I dont care too much for Culpepper or Chambers. They both should have good but not eye-popping seasons.
One thing that I do know for sure is that coach of yours, brilliant man. I was gunning for Saban or Weiss, at the time the Giants were hunting for a coach. Oh well, cant complain too much with Coughlin. It is Hufnagel who needs to be shot.
-
Whats with that face mask?
Its not the mask. Its that face that should be kept out of public view. He should play wearing a 'burkha' or something. Mofo is ugly to the point of being scary.
But, definitely not as fugly as Popeye Jones.

Anyone else feel Plax, Carter and Moss might be our best trio? Toomer did make some serious Circus catches, but frankly he isnt that fast or shifty anymore.
I mean, I know we havent seen Moss on the field, but, I dont know, I just get the feeling.

Can someone please enlighten me as to how someone fractures his fucking foot while going or coming from a meeting??
FUCK! These guys are supposed to take hits from monsters the schmucks go down while going to a meeting??

I'm going buddy!!!!!!!!!! I live in Deltona which is like an hour and a half away with traffic... I'm going to get a hotel around the area since it's going to be a Sunday night football game... ON ESPN!!!!!!
You mean Daytona right?
If you do mean Daytona, YOU LUCKY SON OF A BITCH!!!

so far the only ass stains that I can find who are making these accusations are a few dipshits over on giants.com I can't find any proof of this statement
When will we ever learn to not bring some of that Giants.com garbage over onto this board?? This board still has a shred of sense left.

didnt he resign in the offseason
Finally, someone with a little knowledge on current affairs.
He just signed a contract extension you fucking imbeciles!!

Is the promised land where that broad in avatar is running to?
Personally I would rather the GIANTS be the smack you in face and stomp on your balls team then the Thinking Man's Team...
Actually, the "The slapping the shit out of you and then stomping your balls into the ground" Giants team can only be so if they first are able to THINK HOW to slap the shit out of other teams and stomp their balls into pulp.
-
My bad...when I heard the news I was a little tipsy... Man, I love Shock, but it has only been a half week since camp has started and all I hear is about Shock this, and Shock that... I want to hear good things, like Shockey in best shape of his life, or Shockey becomeing a team leader, or Shockey with a spectacular catch today... I'm tired of hearing all this negative shit... you know where I'm comming from?
I understand. But you have to look at this. For the media, the center pillar is negativity. That is what they thrive on. If you can blow up an issue on resentment as compared to blowing up a spectacular catch, the former always gets the more attention. The latter only appeals to Giants fans. But the former appeals to the world. Infact I dont think TO is as fucked up as the media makes him to be either. They both want to win, but TO thinks about himself, Shockey just wants his team to win and wants to be part of it. Giants fans should not be drawn into media propoganda and go the FAB4 way, because it is quite evident that Shockey is vital for this team's success and he will do everything he can and give his last drop of sweat and blood for his team to win. Would you rather go and practice in super-heat, totally suffering every minute during speed runs in deep sand in Miami, or do the regular 'involuntary' practice in NY? People say it like its a bad thing. These people are actually going there because they get in a monster workout and literally 'die' out there. Not because it is much less intensive than in NY. Read Peter King's article on why he feels Shockey going to Miami wont matter one bit. Ill get you a link if you cant find it.

Well thank you.
It's nice to know that there are others who aren't prepared to buy recycled material and pay for it by servicing the author.
Slavery is apparently not dead...
I wouldnt call his material plagiarised. That would be a little strong. Money is a very capapable writer. But the point is, it is still the same information that could be got off on any other sports websites article. No extra or different insight. Just same information, in different words. Why certain people on here want to blow him and then enshrine him is beyond me.
-
oh
Its still not corrected
-
NYGFan is a cool poster who has had quite a bit to contribute to this board. Unlike Ferret, who gets by on zero content, but usually 'humourous' posts. What I dont get is this new "Money's fellatio team' that has suddenly cropped-up?? Whatsup with that? KP, Plax, anyone?
-
That wont happen as long as we have resident moron Huffnagel calling the plays. On defense maybe we will be smarter. But on offense, we have a fool deciding what play to be run when.
-
he's starting to become detrimental to our team... the 2nd day of camp, he calls our coach an ass, says he'll never change, takes our main reciever to Miami to work out, and now he's throwing his helmet like a little bitch... I'm starting to start rethinking what the Fab 4 said about him now.... I'm happy Demps knocked the piss out of him
You are taking over-reaction to a whole new level.
First of all, I dont get why our very own Giants fans like to purposely pull everything out of context about their very own team. I guess its the very own Giant fans who are discussing this more than fans of any other team. This is a very small thing, that for some reason, we ourselves are beautifully blowing it out of proportion.
First of all, he didnt sit around calling Coughlin an ass. He said "It's an easy adjustment when you have a head coach who really wants to win, but he can be an ass sometimes. But that's what your head coach can be. That's what you need." But we love to just pull out the 'ass' part and sound off for no reason when in reality the comment was not derogative.
He went to work in Miami in the offseason, because a lot of players swear by it and that training gets them more in shape for the season than anywhere else. So its actually a good thing, but no, we need reason to bitch.
Third, he is a fierce competitor and wants to win everytime he is out there. Maybe he was mad that he allowed himself to be leveled by Demps. A lot of his anger and madness are more on himself than on any other. If he had got up and started a shoving match with Demps after a clean tackle, then Id calling him a whining bitch. He did nothing of the sort. He was obviously shaken up after the hit and was probably pissed at himself for allowing that to happen.
I really dont see why we love 'constructing' issues about our own team when none exist. The team itself doesnt have anything to say about but, we , as fans who have 'supreme knowledge' of everything that goes on in camp, can 'brilliantly' make statements like 'Cancer', 'Detrimental' etc when there has been nothing to even remotely indicate anything of that sort.
Plax, I like your posts, but that one was straight out foolish, retarded and uncalled for. The FAB4 reference just made it worse than how useless it already was.

Oh well.....my mantra for the last 2 years now that this coaching staff is among the most stubborn, unintelligent and brainless in the entire NFL is being proven true game after game.
All we have is a bunch of super talented players who come to meetings on time and wear matching socks and ties but are clueless on the field because the one holding the reins is a bumbling moron.
