  1. 87 receptions, 2nd in the league, 1171 receiving yards, fifth in the league. He has been completely insignificant for Drew Brees.

yep te is the biggest offensive threat on many teams now, and will only be a growing trend for sure.

good call on graham. i grabbed him up in 2 out of 3 leagues. guess which one i missed the playoffs in.

  2. 1. Romo minus two games has been the best of his career. those two games however he singlehandedly gave away. so if we're out of the playoffs he has to man up and own that.

    2. 6 losses. 1 blowout. 2 given away after the game was won. i would add the gints game to that but who am i kidding. eli was unstoppable, at least by the cowboys. 1 we had no business losing in zona, and two dogfights with ny and ne. 5 of the losses total point diff -16. cardiac.

    3. rob ryan. he's taking a lot of heat down here, but i think everyone is ignoring two important points. he's kept us in every game save one, and he's got absolutely shit to work with other than a few studs.

    4. the division. it's shit. including the cowboys. but yea i'm gonna stick to my preseason guns. sb or bust

  3. He's not lying you dint show up here till a few weeks 3 at best before dallas and ny had there first game.

i bumped my first thread for you. search my username and read all of them. but don't pretend you know what you're talking about when you have absolutely no clue. :D

  4. That's a great point. You know, you'd be easier to remember if you didn't only show up the two times a year when the Cowboys are over .500.

i was here preseason predicting a cowboys sb, and predicting the fall of the giants this season. my next post came when u were surging and we were losing. my next post came as the tide was turning. to quote the greatest american comedian "strategery"

  5. prince looks bad? imagine that.

b4 the season did i not mention

    prince

    fewell

    oline

    cb

    and lb as specific weaknesses?

i believe i was ridiculed by most

r u sure youre gint fans?

i feel like i know this team better than most here

  6. LMAO, indeed. I'm LMAO'ing that u have the stones to come here to try and talk trash on the team that the Cowboys just got beat by in their own house. Wow. I hope you have high hopes for the Cowboys if they sneak into the playoffs with a 9-7 record, or yet, not make even though the Giants and Eagles have given them every opportunity to run away with the division. Your team sucks just as bad if not worse.

aww mr sour grapes. if 9-7 gets into the playoffs, its good enuff.

cant win it all if u dont goto the dance

  7. I've defended Coughlin for years, Gilbride as well.

    But this is enough.

It has almost nothing to do with play calling. It has everything to do with attitude. This team not only falls flat in important games, but does so consistently. A loss, ok, that happens. But there's no excuse whatsoever to getting BLOWN OUT by fucking Washington AT HOME when you are in a must-win situation. Even with playing all the rookies, it's not unreasonable to expect effort.

I can deal with not making the playoffs with this team. Hell, I expected it this year with the early loss of key players. What I can't deal with is the utter lack of character this team has shown--at least make the ATTEMPT to be in the game.

If this coaching staff can't get these lame fuckers up for a game of this magnitude, then it's time to move on. From this staff, and from a good chunk of this roster, particularly on the defensive side. JPP is a beast, but there's no reason one player should be making 14-16 tackles a game regularly--not if the other players are making any sort of effort.

There is no desire on this team. No fire at all. And while they are supposed to be professionals, it's up to the staff to get fire into their play.

There is no way I would give Manningham big money. The Jacobs/Bradshaw tandem is done--even if there has been improvement over the last few games, they're clearly past their peaks. The entire defense needs to be flushed and rebuilt with possibly a change in philosophy regarding the defensive line. What good are pass rushers if they're crippled by the end of every fucking season? Pray Thomas comes back to full strength, because Ross is completely useless out there. Phillips is simply not coming back to his play before surgery. Boley has disappeared, and Rolle seems to think games are won at the microphone. We need to move on, and need to do it quickly before we waste Manning's peak years.

    LMFAO. welcome to reality fishstick

  8. The Skins played well today. But they have to travel to our house. I definitely think you guys beat the Bucs, they are awful. But I can't see us losing to the Skins, either. And the Jets... I'd rather play them than the Eagles. Surprising you want the Eagles seeing as they put the biggest ass whoopin' on the Cowboys of any team they've faced this year. Regardless, I see the Giants being 9-6 going into the final game of the season, and the Cowboys at 8-7, and the Cowboys would still hold the tiebreaker if they win in the Meadowlands. So this is going to come down to week 17 for the division.

damn. Swept by the lowly skinz lmao

  9. You cowboys fans realize both teams are extremely uneven and neither team is guaranteed a victory, right? Some of the worst football I've seen all year came courtesy of the guys who wear the star.

ofcourse. how even keel were the gnits this end of the season in 2007?

    im giving the guarantee fishy

and some of the best i presume if you were an honest man.

however, the same could be said of just about any team during this lockout year, including yours. true?

  10. Unlike you and Martha I have a backbone nd im not a spineless coward that wont show face when my team loses. I'll be here win or lose. Im sure you wont be. Then you two will give some lame duck excuse why you werent. So yeah, I will enjoy.

i wouldn't consider showing one's face on a message board an act of bravery, nor the opposite as cowardice. but i'll be here after the game nonetheless.

get your excuses ready. i'm already well aware of the injuries, fewell's flaccid schemes, and the ultra-impotent running game, amongst other things.

  11. Obviously your an idiot. Giants beat the cow pies every game in the new stadium, Romo's job may be on the line, and you know damn well Jerry Jones is gonna be on the sideline jawwing in your head coaches ear if your down by 3 or even tied in the 4th quarter and all the pressures on the Giants? Yeah ok. I hope we see you and your girlfriend here posting after you lose.

yeah you're right. that two game win streak in our house is a concrete record that has and will stand the test of time and youth.

our owner doesn't win or lose games. our qb's job is not on the line. and the only pressure i can think of that matters is the pressure to make the playoffs, then the pressure to win the superbowl.

if you lose tonight, goodbye playoffs. if we lose tonight, we are still very much in control of our own fate and the playoffs.

    idiot

  12. Are you DRUNK? We own the Cowboys for years now and you have never beat us in GO-GO Stadium- Eli won the 1st game in your edifice and left a sharpie note Jerry Jones had erased LOL.........

Your man Ware said he hated playing the Giants yesterday, he's scared, and your team is equally scared

    YOU are delirious :jerkoff:

BTW you are out of step with most Cowboy fans calling into Sirius NFL Radio.......most expect to be beat badly and want your HC run out of town on a rail

not at the moment. everything you say is true my friend. however, none of it will have a single ounce of bearing on the game. at most, provide a little bit of motivation to the home team.

about Ware, he also said Tuck wants to be a Cowboy. do you take stock in that as well?s

i don't know about sirius, but here in the dallas metroplex there is a sense cautious confidence, not fear.

we got a taste of being over confident and underprepared vs zona. we'll bounce back.

meanwhile your fanbase is hoping for another 38-35 wake-up call from the league leader. i don't expect it this time with all of the injuries and late season fa's.

the pressure is clearly on the giants here. make no mistake about that. we can afford to give up this game. you cannot.

  13. Har har. Good luck

In getting lost on the way to the stadium.

Its only a game if your pass rush shows up.

if they dont get ready for a lot of "confused opie" close-ups

let jerry reece know if he needs a body off of or practice squad to finish the game its no problemo

  14. Wow all the Cowboys fans come out when we've dropped a few and they've won a few. Good job for those Coybois eke-ing out those wins against the Redskins and Dolphins. Performances like those won't be good enough in the coming weeks though. Are you guys going to disappear when the lowly Cardinals beat you this Sunday? If not then, I know it will be crickets the following week when reality smacks you in the ass against the Giants.

It never gets old, you guys coming out of the woodwork when it looks safe. Except, there's that little nagging thing about your quarterback... who will never, ever get the Cowboys to a Super Bowl much less win one. It's just not going to happen. Good luck drafting a new QB, I recommend sooner rather than later, because Romo is still the same Romo... he's going to shit the bed when it matters most, take it to the bank.

now jimmy you know that's not fair. i came in the preseason and predicted superbowl. i came back the second time after a cowboys loss.

i told you how this was gonna play out months ago. you a believer yet?

  15. When are you guys going to learn the difference between an observation and an excuse?

I was comparing the first half of OUR season to the second half of OUR season: not with the schedules of other teams. There wasn't any woe is me about it--I didn't post that our schedule was any harder than other team's schedules, just that it was a little out of balance and that might be why we appear to be gang-busters in the beginning of seasons, and seem to fall apart at the end of seasons. You'll also notice that I said that this did not excuse the poor play in the second half. I'm not even arguing that the records would have been different: just that the seasons might have had a different feel to them even with the same records.

Look at 2006 as an example. Which would be less painful: going 4-4 in both halves of the season, reversing the halves, or what actually happened? All three outcomes would have resulted in 8-8, but the first two scenarios would sure have been less of a downer, and going 6-2 in the second half would have actually been exciting.

Yes, a few wins here and there would change some of the percentages a little, but it still wouldn't get them below .500 or anywhere near the first half of the seasons.

You know what? I made a point in the OP to mention that Dallas and NE really skewed the percentage in 2007; and didn't try to hide the fact that during the season with the biggest disparity (2008) we went 5-3. Obviously, I'm not making an argument that this is the only reason it's happening, or holding the players and coaches blameless. So how exactly am I making an excuse?

I mean fishy, it's chicken feed for the 'woe is me' crowd. it's an excuse. whether it is for you or not in this post is irrellevant.

i understand the logic perfectly. its strength of schedule. and yes one game has a heavy weight on a 16 game season, so one or two more losses would skew the whole point.

you're both right and completely wrong to say 'see! this is why we suck in the second half.'

but let's agree on one thing at least. following your logic here. it means the giants are simply what i claimed they were in the preseason: mediocre.

you beat up on the weak and yet you're still fodder for the elite. congrats
