  1. Kind of an odd tidbit but on this day November 27 back in 1966 in the highest-scoring NFL game ever, the Washington Redskins defeated the New York Giants 72-41. The day he dies is the same day the Giants and Redskins played a record setting game.

  2. It's not bias, it's realism. He had people in his face all day. Did you look at anyone but Eli? Do you ever watch the line's play? Well I do, and they played like shit.

Do you ever consider how easy it is to defend the pass, when you don't have to defend the run?

Great idea finally putting Bradshaw in when it was too late.

How bout the defense letting a very weak offense sustain long and time consuming drives?

I agree that eli played like shit. Yes. That was fucking obvious to anyone with eyes.

But who on the Giants side did not play like shit? Name one person.

And while you're at it tell me how one man can carry a whole team.

When did I ever say it was all the kids fault?. I agree the entire team played like shit and frankly I don't expect this kid to carry this team on his shoulders because he can't and he's proved that year in and year out. Inconsistent play, his deterioration of his accuracy and mechanics throughout the season and when push comes to shove he either steps up or curls up into a ball and wishes he was back home with his pa are just some of the things this kid has shown that he will never be anything more then an average QB.

I mean I used to support this kid whenever he would take the field, I thought he would give us a chance to win even when things started to get nasty. But what I think the biggest problem is, is that the only time the kid wins is when we are in perfect condition...I mean when all the receiver are healthy and the game plan is working he looks great. But as soon as something goes wrong he looks like a lost puppy out there. This is not a sign of a QB who will take the team deep into the playoffs.

Like I said this kid may prove me wrong some day but as the seasons keeps going it gets more and more obvious that this is never going to happen. Sure we can blame the coaches we can blame the entire team but the kid if you want. But the kid still hasn't done anything to show me that he isn't one of the major problems here.

  3. True that. Did you see the size of that pocket, and all the time he had to throw? It's crazy this kid didn't have a 300 yard game. I could've done better.

Once again nesta your man love for the kid is starting to show, lets blame every aspect of the O instead of the QB. I mean he's only a first round QB, its not like we got him in the 6th round or anything. We should take it easy on the kid maybe in his 9th or 10th season he can finally play a full season without having to blame everyone else but him.

Man I wish the O-line would stop throwing all those picks.....

Am I putting the full blame on the kid? No. Like the Dallas game it wasn't just the kid who hurt us.... but those 4 ints didn't really help us either.

  4. You're right. No team in NFL history, especially not ours, has held a team inside the 10.

But you're right. With all the time Eli had to throw, he should've had 350 yards and god knows how many td's.

    ;)

Once again nesta you show your man love for the kid. Let's blame every aspect of the offense but the kid, hey you know what I think there was a fan yelling to load at the kid maybe thats what threw his game off. Better yet I think the gatorade wasn't the same kind the kid likes so he couldn't play well. The simple fact remains that the kid threw 4 ints which lost the game for us, it must of been nice for the defense knowing that even if you did stop their O the kid was basically going to put up points for them.

  5. 3/5. And one was a tipped pass. And 2 came when the game was already lost and the kid was just trying to force a play.

Easily, bad playcalling fucked this game early and often.

lol 3/5 all they had to do on the 3rd TD was run it in 8 yards

4/5 TD's from the kid, maybe he thought we were so good he'd help Mini

  6. Hands down? 6 drop passes. Terrible play calling. No protection. No running game. No defense. No special teams.

This is what I'm talking about. Eli played like shit. No doubt.

But you people expect him to pick up 21 other people and put them on his shoulders?

And that's not even counting the coaches and special teams.

I don't expect him to do that, I just dont expect 4/5 of the Vik's TD's to come from Eli.

  7. That would depend on who read the defense incorrectly on that int.

It looked like Shockey made the right read at first, but Eli was being blitzed and needed a quick out so Shock should've broke it short to the outside.

Regardless I blame that on Gilbride for outthinking himself.

But the 2nd int was all eli.

I believe the kid threw the ball into the defense both times, regardless of coaching or shock or whoever you want to put it in. The kid still threw both the Ints that are killing us now.

  8. how many times has opie hit guys in the hands? Or had his TE mugged 10 yards down the field. I do not think you can hang this horrible offensive performance on Opie alone.... the entire offense has sucked goat balls

The kid is playing bad along with the offense, but if it wasnt for the kid Mini wouldn't have 14 points. So the offense may be losing us the game but the kid is handing it to them.
