Remember a few weeks ago when I was banging the drum for Tyrell Crosby when he was on waivers?

Yeah nevermind. Nate Solder is a way better idea.

He was put in IR though.

And I think the Lions have Wavier priority over the Giants.

I think the Ravens are a great example of iron sharpening iron.

Good roster year after year after year. It's not just that they draft well, it's that they develop players well too.

Didn't Judge talk a big game on teaching? Hmmm.

So pull Jones to protect his confidence? If there's any chance it would impact his confidence then show him the door at the first opportunity.

No pull Jones because as I said the reps were meaningless, did nothing but show the team they can't even move the ball against backups and to protect him in a blowout loss.

There is absolutely zero positives to keeping him in the game once the Rams pulled their starters because it's just a pre season game at that point.

If Jones still needs "practice reps" at this point in his career show him the fucking door as you said lol

I see your point, but I think you're wrong on the value of those 'garbage time' reps.

I would agree if the Rams didn't pull their starters in the 4th quarter.

At that point the Giants are basically playing a pre season scrimmage.

And they still had a hard time moving the ball.

I mean I could see just trying to build back some confidence and score a couple times but it must of been somewhat demoralizing (something you seen in all their faces) having a hard time even against the bench warmers.

    Just my 2 cents though.

Ya know, just once I'd like to see someone get pissed off instead of the same old tow the line responses:

" 'How do I feel about the loss' I'm fucking pissed, how do you think I feel? How would you feel? We played like shit. We lost. It sucks. I can't fucking believe we're 6 weeks in and we suck this bad. I don't know how to fix it, I'm not the coach. We're paid to win, and we're not. There's nothing positive to take away, fuck all that positive attitude bullshit. You know what brings on a positive attitude? Winning. That's what. Fuck this shit, I need a beer and a shower".

It's that loser mentality that Judge spews every day after a loss.

"Were a good team we just need to watch the tapes and keep building, blah blah blah blah"

No Judge you're not a good team, stop acting like we are one good film review away from going 12-5.

Remember during his press conference he said something like  "I don't want athletes, or football players, I want guys who get pissed off when they are losing, I want competitors"

Well the entire team sounds like they are perfectly happy with just watching tapes and trusting the process.

Don't think I've seen any emotion from these players or coaches about losing except for Williams whining like a bitch about being boo'd by the fans.

Isn't the coach supposed to be the guy "plugging the leaks"?

Or is he hoping that someone magically saves his career?

  6. Probably one of the worst games by Jones in his career.

The WR fell on one route, but those two other picks were on him, throwing into fucking six guys in coverage, and that one DB sitting back on the out route were all on Jones.

Should of let him sit the game, Glennon would of done the same thing, maybe even better since he didn't miss practices this week like Jones did.

  7. My two cents.

    1) Brady left a team in decline, as said draft picks not working out, FAs leaving in mass, for a team one good QB away from a playoff push in the Bucs. When you go from Famous Jamies one of the worst starting QBs out there to Brady, you'll get better by default. They already had a top 10 offense and a good defense, Brady just gave them the push to be better.

    2) Last year they had to suffer with a QB in Newton who couldn't throw a ball beyond 20 yards, and are now running with a rookie QB. The Patriots are kinda where the Giants were two years ago, in a state of limbo rebuilding.

If Brady stayed in NE I'm sure they would still be a shit team, just slightly less shitty.

The Bucs probably go out and get a better QB like Stafford and probably still make a playoff run.

  8. Difference between McVay and Judge.

After the loss Judge: "Lots of football left to be played/were a good team/blah blah blah"

McVay after the win (almost dropping a 40 burger): visibly upset, says he's "disappointed" with how slow the team came out and the penalties. Says they need to keep working to be a better team and they can't leave points out on the field.

Damn, I don't think lack of effort was the issue. To my eyes, the Rams football team was that much better than the Giants football team. Nobody laid down, nobody cheated.

I do agree the Rams are in a whole different league but to me, the team laid down in the second quarter after the first turnover and Ram score.

We couldn't even move the ball against the bench players of the Rams.

I don't know about you but that isn't a team competing that's just a team going through the motions.

  10. Also what the fuck is Judge doing keeping Jones out there with 3 minutes left?

Imagine if he got his bell rung again.

Like Jesus Christ Judge I know you want to look tough but when your down 27 with three minutes left I think it's safe to say youre not winning the fucking game.
