  1. After hearing Reese and Coughlin talk about him, I kinda like the pick more. Both of them had nothing but praise for his athleticism much like they did JPP, and we have the best TE coach in the game Pope working with him. Going to be interesting to see anyways.
  2. B+ Probably going to see Wilson and Hosley contribute from day one, Randle and the rest are going to take time to develop. You never know though, could be a few surprises.
  3. So, RB WR CB TE OT OT DT Solid draft. Plus keep in mind, Prince and Austin from last year didn't do anything and were hurt. It's pretty much like getting two drafts at the start of this season.
  4. Did the Pats get a CB in the late 7th who was rated as a second round pick?
  5. Maybe that's why we got two guys who are years away from starting on any team.
  6. If anything we will be putting one of them on the practice squad, at least that way they can still you know, practice with the team.
  7. Cruz was already showing flashes, if anything going on IR hindered his progress more. Besides I still dont get the logic, when a player is on IR all they can do in a team facility is go in for treatment and study. I don't know of any player who got better from just watching game film.
  8. So you want them to develop by not being able to participate in any sort of team activity?
  9. Fans give Cruz the attention. The coaches know who is the better player.
  10. You honestly see the Giants getting rid of Nicks?
  11. Coughlin on the picks; He sees Wilson and Randle as play makers who are both NFL ready. Hinted more towards Wilson being the home run guy and Randle replacing Mario. Talked about Randle being high on the draft board and was surprised by how far he fell to the Giants. Eisen made the point about the Giants losing BJ, Mario and Ross and how the Giants then drafted an RB, WR, CB yet getting some of the best value with the picks as well.
  12. Tom Coughlin on NFL network soon talking about the draft picks.
  13. At the same time, you dont really draft a fourth round lineman expecting him to start day one.
  14. Overview Mosley played defensive end and tight end at Coffeyville Community College. He converted to the offensive tackle position after signing with Auburn. He continues to develop both physically and with his skill set, and has some traits that make him a late-round prospect. Analysis Strengths Mosley is good at mirroring the defender and keeping his man in front of him. He is not a violent blocker but can move people enough to create a hole. He has played in a spread offense where he was responsible for walling defenders off and getting to the second level, which he excels at. Weaknesses Mosley is a clear developmental prospect for two reasons: he hasn't played the position long, and he played in a spread offense which is far from conventional for an NFL tackle. He will have a serious developmental phase. So he is inexperienced. Sit him for a few years then see what he can do.
  15. Wont be that hard of a decision really.
  16. Well it's a simple fact that not every player a team picks will turn out to even be on the team in five years. Who knows we have Pope and Coughlin teaching the kid.
