  1. laughable...fairweather...etc...etc...the dog has little use for your bravado anymore. let's review: prior to the 2007 season: you created a thread announcing your retirment from the board b/c the dog and other members had spoiled your, quote, "little giant land." a week or so later you returned. middle of the 2007 season: you again announce you are leaving the boards (coincidentally the giants were struggling at that time, having just lost to the lions if the dog recollects accurately). you returned coincidentally when the giants made the playoffs, sighting the acts of those that voice differing opinions as your reason for leaving. super bowl week 2007: you announce yourself as the giants "superfan," posting articles and pictures of you gallavanting around in a giant hard hat and cape. week 1 2011: you create a thread wishing all well, and stating that it had been fun, but that you were "looking forward to next year, hopefully with a new quarterback." subsequent weeks that followed: you never truly leave the boards, but instead puff out your superfan chest while the giants amassed a 6-2 record while playing the equivalent of the sisters of the poor. midseason 2011: following back to back losses, you denounce the team after the physical abuse suffered at the hands of the eagles, stating that you can no longer support a team that shows no heart or fight. you bid farewell and wish others well. last week, 2011: you return yet again (poetically following another redskin loss) after a friend reaches out to you and state, although it was never stated in your farewell address several weeks earlier, that it was the actions of certain board members that lead to your leaving (sounds earily familiar to your first two retirements)... as the dog said, you are the brett favre of the sportswrath community, and for all of your talk and shots taken at "bandwagon" fans of other teams, you have a history of jumping ship when things go south...so for the first time in the dog's message board history, the dog may have to utilize a feature that the dog typically frowns upon, and that is the ignore feature...have to sleep on this one... blunatic/all to jump to your defense in 3...2...1....
  2. boy, the dog would say that is a harsh statement to make two seasons in. over half the starters on defense have been in the league less than 4 years, including 3 out of 4 players in the secondary. the defense is young and in only the second year of learning that system. you have a QB in just his second year who has been injured for a portion of it. your best offensive player in jackson missed games early on. you have a receiving core made up of players that would struggle to be a number 3 on most teams except for lloyd, who has only been there for half the season, and you have an offense that is in their first year with a new coordinator who runs a specific system. it may not happen, but spags gets a pass in the dog's opinion.
  3. ha ha ha...laughable. the dog thinks you need to amend your definition to say "GOOD FAIR-WEATHER FANS..." in your case...
  4. Super...two fools whose mouths are 3 times the size of their brains and 6 times the size of their capabilities yammering on at each other...the dog finds it so...boring.
  5. the dog thinks you should mind your tongue...clearly this is very important to the man (and you really should be sensitive to his deteriorating state of mental health)...for the record, the dog is not the weird woman in the next office, but she sounds delightful. now back to the thread: little eli is not elite. but if he can put together consistent years like this, it can be revisited in the future...
  6. the dog just doesn't see it, and further more, the results speak to it in recent years. a good QB Solid receivers, but TE has been inconsistent, Nicks and Manningham are consistently injured, and all drop their share of passes O-line was once dominant, and the team offensively was great during that time period, but that time period has passed, and the last few seasons it has been another area of inconsistency D-Line - good, but Tuck is never healthy, Osi is never healthy and is limited as a player, Pierre Paul is young and still needs to develop, and the interior is not as strong as it was Linebackers - relatively weak Secondary - relatively weak and/or injured so where is all the talent? just a thought, but look at the teams that have brought in new coaches over the years, and have been on a coaching carousal ever since...not saying coughlin should stay, but the potential of change can take them from mediocre to worse...but then again, at some point it has to happen, and every team needs to retool...
  7. wow...the dog will ask someone else to please jump in, even if you are no fan of the dog's, and read through the last few posts and explain it to this poor, challenged man. this is going from entertaining to awkward...and flat out uncomfortable is not far off...
  8. always a tricky situation...a new coach is obviously inevitable at some point, but new coach's track records haven't been the best. the dog is always leary of starting over, and again, this will draw heat, but the dog just doesn't believe the talent level on this team has been as high as most fans here think, and so perhaps he has overachieved given talent, injuries...etc... getting new blood in can set a team back...see Josh McDaniels in Denver (and no, while the dog finds the Tebow ride to be entertaining, not sure it will last long there, so in the end, McDaniels moves will still set that team back)...
  9. ha ha ha...wow, the dog doesn't typically laugh at deteriorating mental capacities, but you really are off your rocker...forgive the dog's insensitivities to your issues. again, last time - go back on hiatus. you still haven't fully recovered from whatever breakdown caused you to leave earlier this year...
  10. ok, the dog will play along... the dog denies being the same person...when it comes to technology, the dog doesn't know how to determine where someone else is posting from, so the dog can't say for sure where badegg is located in the world. but you go with what you want to...angela lansbury has nothing on you matlock...
  11. now that is good stuff...the dog again appreciates that...
  12. um, badegg did deny it...the dog can't reiterate enough that it may be time for you to take another hiatus. where is cowboyz when you need him? or do you think he is also the dog?
  13. you see, despite our differing opinions, you at least get what this whole thing is, an on-going debate as to the legitimacy of the label. the dog appreciates that.
  14. look, the dog will drop this now. but all the dog did was comment on what appeared to be an inappropriate statement given the circumstances. the fact that treehugger and fishy are defending it is what kept it going...and just a note, if you read the thread, the dog wasn't the only one here who misinterpreted the comment...
  15. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....this has been addressed countless times before. the dog encourages you to keep trying. really, the FBI could use your services. now run along, your need for yet another vacation from the boards is calling...
  16. what in god's name are you babbling about here? the dog didn't get to see the whole giant-cowboy game, and stated that so that any comment the dog made about it could be taken under that context. the "HS" was again a typo. probably someone with half an IQ could look at a keyboard and make that assessment. really, as mildly entertaining as you have been, please do go back on hiatus as you did with your hissy-fit earlier this year. you're losing it.
  17. allow the dog to take the other side of that...when he has a great game, everyone here jumps to he is "elite" and the second coming of Dan Fouts...etc...etc...the crux of this who argument has been, elite vs good. one year...one game...one 4 game stretch isn't to the dog's mind the resume for earning that status. and as the dog said, the body of work isn't that of an elite QB...but he still has 5 years or so to get there.
  18. um, please reread...the dog never said he was guilty...never said any of that, and quite honestly would not touch this thread with a comment, except that what was implied was that "Jesus Christ, if this is true we have to fill another roster spot"...the dog took offense to that considering that IF this was true, roster spots shouldn't be what is the concern...but go ahead and accuse the dog of being high and mighty...etc...if being offended by the idea of diminishing child abuse for sake of a football team one cheers for is the dog being high and mighty, so be it. you come down on whatever side of that argument you and little fishy choose to.
  19. Ha ha ha...nice effort. So auto correct on the iPad changed a mistype to that, and you can't let it go...ha ha ha...the dog loves your effort indeed. the dog does wonder, now that cowboyz has been posting more frequently, are you going to go slinking away like you did the last time, only to change your name 9 times and return to bring us all on-going entertainment? Now that the court jester bailed, and you have no one to defend, what will you do? Perhaps you're right...little eli's performance yesterday is beyond criticism...please...ha ha ha...run along now blunatic, run along...HS ha ha...WOO!
  20. because as the dog has said on a constant basis, eli is like clockwork with the inconsistent performance. again, he is a solid QB and has had a very good year. elite he is not. but lest you think the dog is holding some sort of vendetta against him, let's investigate, shall we? the knock around here on mcnabb was that he could never win the big one (never mind the fact that most of his career was spent throwing to receivers that would struggle to make the roster on the edmonton eskimos). the on-going knock on romo has been that he rolls up great stats but disappears in december...so... did you know that eli has a career losing record in december (17-21)? throw away year 1 to be fair, and he is a 500 QB in that time. he has a career 4-3 postseason mark, but has won a post season game in only one season. he is 0-3 every other season. every year down the stretch there is at least one giant egg that is layed...the cowboy win was a huge victory, completely diminished by yesterday's performance, which was as predictable as a snow storm in january in anchorage alaska... he is a solid QB. a good one. but games like yesterday demonstrate the difference between a good QB and an elite one (think Tom Brady winning with half the weapons and an equally pitiful defense)...
  21. Well, little Eli. Consistently inconsistent, and in no way elite. But on a regular basis he lays a fat egg in a big spot each year...see green bay last year...see the first round of 3 out of 4 playoff years...the dog grows tired of being right...who takes the fall in his place on the boards this week? Officials? The OC? The DC? Injuries? The dog is eager with anticipation...
  22. And you get it less then most...the dog could care less if the giants do the right thing if he is guilty and drop him...the issue is the person who sees a child abuser and has the reaction of oh great, now we have one more spot on our already pathetic football roster to fill...get a clue and see the nonsense...no need to be a foster parent there simpleton, but how about identifying with the real tragedy of this first rather than worry about the roster. Most football fans are humans first after all little fishy...
  23. Say what you want, the dog may be no fan of the giants, but you really find those statements to be ok if the accusations are true? If so, apply what the dog said to yourself...
  24. The dog is getting more disturbed by the minute. If this is true, your thought is that boley needs to learn to use a rubber? How about boley needs to learn not to abuse women and children? And if this is true, the dog would hope the woman he beat gets some of the "big mans" money. Just think, if he demonstrated half the toughness on the field that he apparently does with women and children, you all might not have to be pleading for linebacker help every year...
  25. His sediment, and possibly yours, is unsettling in that concern 1 is the impact on the team when an overpaid moron beats women and children...god forbid the team has "one more spot to fill"...what a true tragedy. The dog hopes the child getting beaten can overcome the guilt for dealing all the giant fans such a terrible hardship... That is what the dog thinks is wrong with your sediments...
