Mathias Kiwanuka

Height: 6-6

Weight: 265

40 Speed: 4.73*

Position: Defensive End

College: Boston College

"production is wildly inconsistent from one snap to the next" , "too often he plays without a sense of urgency and does not attack the play in front of him, which causes him to catch blocks and get knocked around at the point of attack " , "almost always a beat late moving at the snap and tends to pop upright and plays high too often. He is not a threat as a pass rusher when he does and can be driven off the ball on runs at him"

Sinorice Moss

Height: 5-8

Weight: 184

40 Speed: 4.41*

Position: Wide Receiver

College: Miami (Fla.)

"he lacks the bulk/size to consistently get off the ball quickly once he has been jolted by a strong jam" , "is going to need to become more consistent anticipating the snap and getting off the line of scrimmage into routes fast"

Gerris Wilkinson

Height: 6-3

Weight: 239

40 Speed: 4.65*

Position: Inside Linebacker

College: Georgia Tech

"is limited athletically" , "lacks the playing speed, agility and closing burst to make plays outside consistently" , "does not change directions well and it hinders his ability to stay with tight ends in tight man-to-man" , "has a tendency to stop his feet and lunge/dive to make tackles and miss tackles he should make"

Barry Cofield

Height: 6-4

Weight: 303

40 Speed: 5.08*

Position: Defensive Tackle

College: Northwestern

"does not sense the snap consistently and is usually a beat late moving at the snap, which hinders his ability to get backfield penetration consistently" , "does not use his hands aggressively vs. blockers every snap, and struggles to shed and get free when he doesn't" , "Cofield just does not make many plays"

Guy Whimper

Height: 6-5

Weight: 305

40 Speed: 4.96*

Position: Offensive Tackle

College: East Carolina

"does not use good technique or block aggressively often enough, which leads to him getting pushed around too easily" , "stops his feet as soon as he makes contact on blocks and it leads to him losing that block" , "Doesn't fire off the ball to be a run blocker" , "pass rushers get into his chest and they can drive him backward into the quarterback's lap"

Charlie Peprah

Height: 5-11

Weight: 202

40 Speed: 4.57 V

Position: Strong Safety

College: Alabama

"very inconsistent player" , "misses way too many tackles for a safety" , "does not read the passer well on medium passes in front of him and on deep outside passes" , "ate reads lead to him being late breaking and closing to make a play on the ball"

Gerrick McPhearson

Height: 5-10

Weight: 191

40 Speed: 4.21 V

Position: Cornerback

College: Maryland

"does not sense or feel the ball coming and will run into receiver, or allows the catch too often" , "Emotional makeup is in question" , "McPherson is not a persistent tackler " , "hands of stone"

Meanspirited and negative some people are like "Black Holes" seeing only the Dark Side of good people...they are doomed to implosion. Probably cut themselves shaving a lot .:(

bc these guys are "charector" picks means dick...will being MR. NICEGUY translate to the type of guy on the football field that will tackle you for a loss of 3 yards. then jam his cleat in your throat on the way up ?? i think not...

I must say your very consistant !

would it be possible for you to post their

positives?

every player in the draft from the #1 pick down has

a negative rap sheet. also a positive one.

let see if you have it in you to post their positives!!

the FAB 4 will go out on a limb and say that only 1 pick from the 2006 draft will contribute any value during the season...that being Sinorice Moss

Leadership has nothing to do with Nice Guy...showing your ignorance, you relate character to "dick'...flexing has nothing to do with stuffing a QB....Off The Field Warrants don't give you Team Effort. EA went out showing he knew the team needed leaders and class and ignored position talent for PEOPLE...but how could you see that ...you can't can you? <_<

Where did you get your Quotes, Pessimist Quartly or The Eagles Message Board.

I would like to see what they have to say about other highly reguarded picks, I bet

Reggie Bush- Too Small to be and effective everydown back

Liendard- Questionable leadership qualites, rubber band arm

Young-Low Release point will result in many deflected passes, black QB has never won the SuperBowl

Mario Williams - Too big, fast, and strong for football, natural calling for Steelworker or Garbage man

I wonder what this resource had to say about Tom Brady as a 5th round pick?

Mathias Kiwanuka

Height: 6-6

Weight: 265

40 Speed: 4.73*

Position: Defensive End

College: Boston College

Blue-chip pass rusher with an enormous upside in the right setting — a defensive scheme that utilizes his well-developed skills. He has the combination of size, speed, quickness, athleticism, agility and experience to become an impact pass rusher early. Work ethic and commitment should allow him to improve further with strength work. He can play either the weak- or strong-side end in a 4-3 defense and should be an every-down player early. He has strong hands and separates from blockers well with the burst of speed to the ball to make the big play.

Sinorice Moss

Height: 5-8

Weight: 184

40 Speed: 4.38*

Position: Wide Receiver

College: Miami (Fla.)

The brother of former Miami and current Redskins wideout Santana Moss, he has the playmaking ability to be an impact performer at the next level. His speed allows him to be dangerous after the catch, especially as a slot receiver matched up against nickel cornerbacks. He has the initial burst that can pressure a defense if the corner does not get his hands on him at the snap. He has the explosiveness to break any play and is most effective when isolated in coverage - where his running skills give him a chance to break the play. In the deep game, he has the separation speed to hit the home run.

Gerris Wilkinson

Height: 6-3

Weight: 239

40 Speed: 4.65*

Position: Inside Linebacker

College: Georgia Tech

Has good speed to reach the flanks and fine functional strength that translates well to the field. He is a high-energy guy who hustles and pursues with good speed to the sidelines and can finish plays. He uses his size well when it comes to matching up with tight ends in pass coverage and he knows how to use his hands to jam and redirect.

Barry Cofield

Height: 6-4

Weight: 303

40 Speed: 5.08*

Position: Defensive Tackle

College: Northwestern

Rugged, tough senior lineman has been a stalwart on the Northwestern front four, playing both inside and outside during his college career. He has filled a stay-at-home role over his career. He has the quickness to penetrate and find the ball to put himself in position to make plays along the line.

Guy Whimper

Height: 6-5

Weight: 305

40 Speed: 4.96*

Position: Offensive Tackle

College: East Carolina

Nice-sized blocker still learning the position. Strong at the point, turns opponents off the line then seals them from the action. Anchors in pass protection, jolts defenders with good hand punch and knocks them from their angle of attack. Terrific athlete.

Charlie Peprah

Height: 5-11

Weight: 202

40 Speed: 4.57 V

Position: Strong Safety

College: Alabama

Peprah is a versatile defensive back who filled several starting positions. He has adequate size for the safety spot and adequate measureables for the corner. He filled the strong safety spot and performed well showing the ability to fill the lanes in run support. He is a strong, agile athlete who is well-rounded and can compete for playing time early. He has a strong physique and brings some force when he makes tackles. He has also played cornerback, which adds some versatility to his package. He loves to initiate contact. He has good balance and lateral movement. He has a good burst and natural coverage skills to succeed as a cover-two corner. He displays sure tackling skills and the ability to read plays. He should be able to start on special teams immediately.

Gerrick McPhearson

Height: 5-10

Weight: 191

40 Speed: 4.41 V

Position: Cornerback

College: Maryland

McPhearson is a muscular, smaller cover man with fine athletic skills. He is an extremely explosive and very fast track athlete who uses his leaping ability and rare speed to compensate for his lack of ideal size. He has excellent range and recovery speed. He is also very strong and is able to bench press twice his body weight. His forte is man coverage where he is able to lock down receivers and do well reading the eyes of the passers. He has good instincts and knows when to gamble and when to play it more conservatively. He is a solid tackler who will deliver a strong hit.

this is all very arbitrary...and in actualality means zilch bc not one of these guys listed above was drafted by my NYG's, so i could care in the least what they turn into or dont...

“Peprah will be an outstanding special teams performer,” Coughlin said.

Read a thing or two before you embarass yourself again.

Did you miss the part when we picked him in the FIFTH ROUND? He'll get his chance at CB and S, but for now he'll be of great use on special teams. Who would you have picked instead?

this is a great mantra...for depth, and special teams purposes...so lets ask this question...when do we start selecting players that have the ability to start ??
