It's that time of year again...

Halfway thru and with a 6-2 record (how many times have we found ourselves here).. so the question is.. will there be the annual collapse or this is the year the Giants continue to build on the first half's success.

Knock on wood.....I think we're going to be getting better as our players are getting healthier. Baas and Bernard will be back....and Phillips (although, he should be a little worried that little Stevie Brown hasn't taken his starting role)....and Will Hill will be back.

To be this far into the season and then to get our bye week after the next two games, the bye week will give the Giants time to heal well before hitting the home stretch against the Falcons, Ravens...and of course, our nemises Eagles and Redskins for the second time around.

I feel good about the way it's panning out for us. I think we'll definitely make the playoffs.....after that, it's a matter of what team gets hot. We're in a hell of a lot better situation than the other teams in our division who will have a very hard time making the playoffs as a wild card.

Yet, but if you look at all the teams' injury reports, we're sitting pretty good compared to a lot of teams.

Check out all the teams: http://www.nfl.com/injuries

We just need to get Eli's head back in the game and get the offense fired up again. We should be starting Andre Brown at RB and we should be using 3 receiver sets so that we get single coverage with Nicks, Cruz, and Hixon fading out...not to mention, having Bennett to throw to as well.

We can't expect to have 6 turnovers handed over to us in any more games to bail our offense out.
