Most teams have a three DE rotation, but for sake of arguemnt lets just use both starters. So theres 64 starting DE in the league. Tuck finished tied 7th outta all DE with sacks impressive and Kiwi finished tied 17th(with 5 others I think) so in realty 17th out of 64 is my definition of a good/decent DE. fringe Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 And you still think that's average??? what do you think? first of all, he was talking about when osi and strahan were both there, QB's ran into Kwi just trying to get away from those 2. so it's a meaningless stat, but yes, i think 17th is fairly average. when given the starting job outright, he did very little to make me think otherwise. Maybe Im misunderstanding, but Im thinking 17 out of all DE's in the league when thrust into a starting psosition, that is actually your natural position, but you just got done trying to learn a new position, is pretty good.
