Remember back in the 80s and 90's, home field was a big deal and it was rare that the home team went down or so many went down at the same time. Is there just too much parody in the league? Herc Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 i agree. it's def not an advantage for us. we've been terrible in dec games since eli and coughlin got here. i was extremely skeptical about the importance of the #1 seed but ultimately it's one less game to play so you still gotta go for it. i mentioned this in another thread: home teams had their worst year ever against the spread.
