RandolphScott
I picked up this book this afternoon and I finished it about an hour ago.. I just couldn't put it down...while he did draft some duds in his tenor as Giants GM, he was one brilliant man.
jranieli
Was the book about his whole career as a GM or his Giants time?
RandolphScott
Was the book about his whole career as a GM or his Giants time? First couple of chapters were about his childhood and most of the book allures to that in subsequent chapters. Talks about his tenure as the Browns GM, how his owner traded John Elway from his fingertips, etc.
boohyah
I read the book last week. Good book, not a great one. I don't think he dumped on Coughlin that badly, in fact Coughlin comes out of this book looking better IMO. There were some revelations but nothing too major. The whole Elway thing was interesting and the stuff with Baltimore. Also after 7 years coaching, there was barely any mention of Fassel. Although he took a shot at him at the end of the book. I saw Strahan's book in the store today. I'm tempted to get it.

RandolphScott
He wondered if the Giants even had an offensive scheme in Superbowl 35. He was pissed off he never interviewed Sean Peyton for the Giants job in 2004.
