Harry's one of my all time favs. I was a teenager growing up when that trio of Banks, LT and Carson were dominating opposing O's, so they have a special place in my heart. TaylorBanksCarsonVanPelt Posted September 15, 2007 Share Posted September 15, 2007 I remember watching Giants games in the 70's and enjoying seeing Carson, Van Pelt and Brian Kelley kicking ass and taking names. Unfortunately neither Van Pelt nor Kelley finished up their last year or two with the Giants. I think it was one of those Kevin Mitchell Met's type moves where they removed those two guys (who were really into hard partying) so as not to unduly influence Taylor. Funny thing about those moves is that the supposed students of the hard party guys like Strawberry, Gooden and Taylor turn out to be even bigger druggies than the guys that are forced to leave.
