jranieli
He used to be a decent all around hockey player but how has he been recently? I guess it is not bad for a third rounder.
jranieli
in the closing hours before the NHL's 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, the New York Rangers acquired defenseman Sandis Ozolinsh from the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in exchange for San Jose's third-round pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, obtained in an earlier trade for Ville Nieminen on March 8. Ozolinsh is a seven-time NHL All-Star who won the Stanley Cup with Colorado in 1996 and helped Anaheim reach the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals. More details to follow. I guess it is from that San Jose draft pick. http://www.newyorkrangers.com/pressbox/pre...ses.asp?id=1983
Gforce11
Well we really didn't give up anything so I am very happy about that. Second, it adds a good solid point at the blue line for PP which we have been missing all year and he can partner with Darius for a nice 1-2 punch. HOUND
You guys got Ozolinsh just in time for him to give away the puck to Stillman for an empty netter. Canes win!!!! I'd love to see these teams meet in the playoffs. But I still like Carolina's chances!
BurrisFan
Good trade for the Rangers ,although I would have prefered they would get a stay-at-home defenseman with a mean streak. They need to get a little tougher.
