  1. I want to play too...... It wouldnt be a bad thing if trading was aloud.....Couple rules

1)There should be a commity that OK's all trades

2)Can not trade next years picks

3)there has to be a reason for the trade......Ex) Texans need a O-line if they trade the first pick for a first, second, fith, or what ever, then they need to pick an O-line man with atleast 2 picks

    4) no trading players for picks

    5) No trading for the sake of trading

    6) Trade must benifit both teams and an explination is needed from both owners

lol... and no touching below the waist.....hahahaha :P

I find it amusing that the highest ERA is 4.13 and that's one of only three people have predicted over 4. But anyways, I will go ahead and predict a 94 win season. Whether or not that's enough to win the division is yet to be determined.

  4. by GateB

Yeah I was thinking of trading him. Seo did so great last year for us there has to be a reason we traded for an unproven reliever. That's why I'm thinking the As are wanting a reliever instead of a starter like Seo and will give us Zito in return.

This is a fun idea for a thread. Looking forward to seeing who's predictions are right and who's are completely far-fetched by the end of the year. I have a feeling some of these guys listed won't be on our roster come april though.

I will just say now that people will be asking if this was edited or not because they are going to be so accurate. Just wanted to let you guys know

  7. I like this order the best

    NL- LHP

    Reyes

    Beltran

    Wright

    Delgado

    Floyd

    Lo Duca (Castro)

    Nady

    Matsui (Kepp)

    (Pitcher)

because if either 1 of those first 3 get on base, it's going to be a great RBI year for Delgado... whenever pitchers got to worry about someone on first getting a good lead off, it distracts them against a very high quality batter, which I think would be seriously undefendable... especially when Reyes is on first with no outs... than they gotta worry about him running and they gotta worry about getting out Beltran, Wright, and Delgado in a row!!! Which to me would scare the hell outta me as a pitcher... That's defiantely my favorite line-up!!

Oh man, the stats you put are gaudy. I think you hit the nail on the head with what the starting pitchers' records will probably be though.

Some things I think that won't happen off yours are Beltran's 58 SB. That would be incredibly hard to do, and I don't think Willie will give him the green light like he does Reyes. Wright's 41 homers, not now at least, hopefully 2007. And Frnaco's 7 HR's to Castro's 4. Franco will play a limited role PH and there is no way he'll get more HR's than Castro (Who will probably start 45-50% of the time at catcher.

I forgot to explain some of my predictions concerning platoons at Right Field, Catcher, and Second Base.

The right field we have platooned now I predicted would be .268 BA, 28 HR's, 12 SB, 109 RBI's, that would be awesome so I don't think there is going to be a major hole there (Alternate days, Nady starts versus LHP and Diaz starts versus RHP)

The catching situation that I think will be platooned I predicted to be .266 BA, 18 HR's, 5 SB, and 102 RBI's. That's also awesome, we keep them both fresh and should alternate them with our starting pitching, whoever has more of a feel of the pitcher gets the nod. I don't think there is much of a problem there either.

The second base situation is decent, the only hole on this team (other than lack of 'quality' starting pitching) in my opinion. I do have Matsui getting like 75-80% of the playing time and Keppinger getting a role PH and occasionally starting. My prediction set their hits for .270 BA, 16 HR's, 80 RBI's, which is an average season for an everday 2B.
