Carbo quote: Not second round pick, second pick in the draft. Why? Because Shockey is overrated and overhyped, and with the number two pick in the draft the Front Office just might be able to do something. There are other TE's available who can drop the ball just like TO White.
Ok, let me get this straight. Shockey is overrated (even though he was second in the league in Yards, Catches, and TDs, among TE) but you think we will get a second overall draft pick for him. Yep, that makes perfect sense.
You're a fucking moron.
hahahaha

I was not even going to bring that up, this dipshit was not even worthy of that retort, but he did need a little history lesson about 2005.
Most Yankee fans are douche bags that don't even deserve to comment to us, fucken bandwagon ass mother fuckers...

I'm fine with Wright.
lol....I defiantely agree

good job guys. good defense. 4-2.

Would you be happy or upset if EA pulled an Eli-type move and somehow traded up to get AJ Hawk? Involving obviously trading away future picks, including a first round one or two....
Discuss....
I say no, just because there are so many good defense of players in the draft this year, that I want EA to utilize all the picks we can get....

What's ya'lls opinions on us going after Keyshawn? WR seems to be a concern everyone says we have, and Keyshawn is a good posetion type WR. Sure he's selfish and a loudmouth, but he's at the point in his career where he knows he isn;t the star and won't catch 100 passes.. If T.C. can keep the lip work to a minimum, he could be a low cost asset to us. Ofcourse I have no idea what his asking price would be, but I doubt it would be very high.
He could be a good 2nd or 3rd WR, and allows us to use our draft picks on more needed positions.
he does like the Giants from the article I read before we played them, but he's an over priced, loud mouth cry baby....I would take Toomer over him anyday...he won't want to be the 3rd option...god forbid he was ever wide open and Eli didn't see it....he would flip out... he's a cancer that can make or break a team in the locker room and on the field

Fuck that, I just want them to score a run. I have lost:
7-0 to Phillies
3-0 to Braves
And to add on to that, the only Yanks game I've been to is where they won 22-1 against the Indians and Chili Davis stole the show
and when I went we lost 8-2... the 2 was scored on a home run by Robin Ventura with 3 balls, 2 strikes, 2 outs in the 8th... God I miss Ventura

Actually, that move looks a lot better now, now that we have a reliever who can replace Padilla.
I still hate the WBC

Ordering it by phone this weekend
cool... I hope you get good seats, and more than anything I hope they win for you!

Nope but on August 5th against the Phillies and July 22nd or something like that against the Astros. Possibly September 10th against the Dodgers too.
Awesome.... Do you already have the tickets?

Out of our first 15 games, 12 are at home..... If we start strong the sky is the limit

First they got to beat Hampton, though.
I'm not one of these jerks who just pick a random game and say biggest upset ever. I follow Monmouth, i live a few blocks away.
Here's my logic:
1.Many Monmouth players have been there before, they're not your regular 16 seed.
2.Monmouth is a bigger team, but then so is every other team that plays Nova, but i think MU can hang with their 4 guards. Look for Bunch to dominate, the guy is 7'3. Lol was discovered by a div III school in a grocery store.
3.Villanova is coming off a big lay off. If Monmouth wins tonight, they'll have a little bit of confidence and momentum.
4. Allan Ray probably is goin to play. But, he will be wearing protection. This could be extremely bothersome and throw him and the rest of the team off.
By Saturday night, the record for a #16 seed will be 1-86. lol
Go Monmouth!!! :worshippy:
that's a pretty strong guarentee, Mr. Namath

Now Pedro says he's a little bit sore and has moved back his latest bullpen session to tomorrow.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- New York Mets reliever Juan Padilla will miss the season because of a right elbow injury.
"If I had my speed and control, I could've dealt with the pain a little bit, but the bottom line was that I'd lost it," the right-hander said Monday, a day before he was scheduled to have reconstructive "Tommy John" surgery in New York.
The 29-year-old pitcher was picked to play for Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic, but was held out of the competition after an MRI exam showed the elbow injury. Another medical evaluation confirmed he needed surgery.
He expects to begin rehab in about six weeks and hopes to be throwing by November.
Padilla allowed 24 hits in 36 1-3 appearances last season, going 3-1 with a 1.49 ERA.
