  1. Kansas City have drafted well the last few years on defense and Spags has a lot to work with. I don't think he's necessarily better, he just has better tools right now.

He's a good guy who works hard and will be employed in the league for a long time. He deserves any recognition he deserves.

We have a top-10 pick and a QB that not only had a mere 70 QB rating this year, but also never passed the eye test and has had one healthy season in a five year career. The draft is stacked at QB. If this isn't the time to draft a QB, when do you draft one?

I think who's throwing the ball to Flowers and Rice has a lot to do with their success. Who was talking about Nico Collins before CJ Stroud started throwing him the ball?

Zay Flowers and Rasheed Rice are playing good football regardless who is throwing the ball to them. Can't keep saying guys are good because other guys are makjng them good.

Nico Collins has been excellent this year and was good last year. Stroud has done the job no doubt, but that Texans team played much better across the board and is clearly being coached better.

I've posted here before that I would draft offensive linemen or defensive linemen every year with the first pick and I still believe that.

  3. None of this singing business bothers me, as long as the are not doing it on the field.

Waller is still worth the 3rd round pick, it was worth the gamble, even if they let him go now.

And I don't know why people here still go on about Toney. He's not playing again today and now it's a hip and "personal reasons". He's a bust there also.

Let's face it... Wink bails.  His is a high risk high reward defense.  So when the good teams figure it out... they will eat you alive.  When they don't you can run the table.  That is getting rarer and rarer these days.

Right T, it was the risk that came with him.

    Dallas ate him up twice.

  5. Wink's departure in Baltimore was due to the fact that Harbaugh was fed up after years that Wink called the same plays on defense with rookies and late season roster additions than when he had his starters and the Ravens got burned with it. Not the same reason he's leaving here. This is due to the assistants leaking to the press with the idea being he's trying to absolve himself of this mess this year. Daboll called his bluff and Wink is mad now.

  6. Not a hope in hell he gets 3 years at 40 mill.

I have less hope he'll be resigned this season. The best teams in the league are going running back by committee. Derrick Henry is on the market now and he'll be lucky to get a 2 year contract anywhere.

  7. Frankly, I don't think any of this is going to bother Schoen or Daboll. That's the pairing that matters in this organization. We could have lost both coordinators last season.

Might be time for Jerome Henderson to step up.

He needs to move on... get a college head coaching job (more likely than the pros at this point), go into the booth and/or retire to enjoy life.  Let Daboll sink or swim with "his guys" I say.  This worked out well for everyone.  Wink is too old and established to eat cock.  He would have chafed under Parcells and/or Coughlin as well.

I think you've knocked it on the head T. He's a decade older than Daboll and probably looks down the line and says to himself why isn't that him?. He's 60 years old. I can't see him getting head coach, but if someone gives him better money and perhaps and assistant head coach job, he looks at that as a victory.

  9. He's done himself a lot of favors this season with his playcalling, I don't think he's head coach material but I expect he's going to get some opportunities for defensive coordinators and get himself a bigger payday.

Littler actually reminds me a bit of a better version of John Lowe. His ability to hit 170's , 160 finishes etc. Did you see that 144 finish under that pressure ? amazing.

'Do you remember the Keith Deller v Eric Bristow final in 83 Boo ?........i was 14 FFS !  where did the time go  .

This kid is a superstar as long as he keeps his feet on he ground , gets good guidance and doesn't hit the cocaine

Remember Deller vs Bristow very well UK. Huge Upset back then.

John Lowe was a class act and a great foil for Bristow, you wanted him to beat him.

Jocky Wilson is the best darts name ever.

  11. Uk, does Littler just have those Eric Bristow vibes about him? I had the final on at work and honestly I just think Humphries having more maxes set him up better to finish off the legs. But Littler was awesome, if he keeps his feet on the ground he'll kill guys for years. The level in darts now is so much better than when it was just Jocky/Bristow and Lowe. When Humphries came back against Cullen, I just thought he turned the corner and he killed Williams and he was just a bit better today. Congrats to him, but darts could really go to another level soon.
