  1. Blah, Blah Blah, Jones contract has us all fucked up!

Falcons just gave Kirk Cousins their left leg, and he's coming off an Achilles tear at his age. But we're giving Jones $40 mil which is killing us. Give me a fucking break.

What kind of dog shit advice has Barkley been given his entire career? Dude could have gone anywhere and come back as a Giants media personality for the rest of his life, now he's got NO CHANCE of that ever happening.

Hope he enjoys being Penn State's radio color commentator.

He even changed agents. He's not happy about last year, it's clear from his words at the end of the season.

It sucks, the running back market is just an exchange of players from one team to another. Josh Jacobs is in Green Bay today and Aaron Jones is out. Go figure.

Oh yes the whole "a player should take less to stay here" lol

Do you ask your boss for a pay decrease?

Also like Pdoub just posted, the Giants never even tried to make him an offer.

Any money Saquon got last year would have been an increase on his previous contract.  It's has to do with how big on an increase. Clearly he didn't agree with their assessment.

We could of paid Barkley instead of Jones last offseason.

But yeah I'm sure the 60 million Jones has made his first two years of the deal (possibly 80 if he gets hurt) has nothing to do with it.

If the Giants wanted to extend themselves to sign Barkley last year, they would have. He could have also taken less to stay if he wanted to badly enough, he didn't.

If the Eagles want to extend themselves by signing him, that's on them. Schoen is handling this correctly.

I'm sorry he's gone, but considering that he signed so quickly for our rival would lean into the idea he probably had no intention of agreeing with us.

I don't love Adoree either but what else are we going to do for that price at that position? Dude made so many business decisions during the second half of the season... but for 9 mil you're probably either looking at washed-up Stephon Gilmore or rolling with an unproven high draft pick otherwise.

Josh Dobbs is estimated at 2 mil per season. Dude made 1.5 this year and I feel like he's still under valued.

I don't see him getting $9 million from anyone else so not sure what we'd be offering him that. There are cornerbacks being released and will be released that are better than him.

Josh Dobbs deserves at least top level backup qb pay. He was traded for twice last season. I think he's worth more than $2 million. If we could do it for that price I'd be okay with it.

we are getting a bit lucky in recent games Boo ....... but i'll take it. ( 99th minute winners are special things )

shame that Utd crumbled in the second half yesterday but City are light years ahead i'm afraid

Light years is correct UK. The fact we held out as long as we did was amazing. We'll see what the new regime does but it's painful right now.

I think you'll win it. I just think they are all keyed up to get Klopp over the line. That said, Arsenal are not going away this year. Rice has made the difference.

On the other end, Jeez Sheffield United have just brought nothing to the Premier this year, awful stuff. And I thought Burnley might stay up , but they are toast also.

Has either Landon Collins or that other safety done much since leaving the Giants?

Not saying they aren't good just I never tracked either of them.

Not much but it doesn't matter. DC gave him his money, I doubt they feel he was worth it.

If the other safety is Julian Love, then he just made the probowl.

  8. Not sure we are getting much better with this guy. The defensive players have gotten better through the draft and free agency clearly so I think that the defensive improves as the quality improves. I don't think we're moving the needle much with this hire.

Maybe but Christ was Mahomes amazing navigating that pass rush tonight.  THAT’S the standard for “he shouldn’t need an o-line look at his salary”

Mahomes is great, not saying he isn't. But Kelce figures shit out on the routes and once they started getting the ball to him, they got going.

A good tight end is a big part of the offense, he's at another level. Just the way it is.
