I've never wanted him or any other LB round 1 this year.

 

I was against him because he lacks instincts and instincts are among the best traits to have as a LB. Screw him.

 

Now if for some reason he bottomed out and went undrafted or really late then maybe he would be worth a look.

LOL...do you just say things that sound convenient?? If theres one thing this kid has, is GREAT instincts, and he's one hell of an athelete. Is he a bit of a head case? Yes, thats his knock. But if theres any organization that can handle someone like Burfict, its the Giants.

Now, you all can read what the reporters and media say, but take it from someone who lives in the state he plays in, its not as bad as stated. Ive NEVER missed an ASU game, and Burficts is one of the better LBers Ive ever seen play. Does some REAL stupid shit, but that can be changed.

Im with Pdub, wouldnt be upset at taking him, as long as its not our 1st pick.

Hey bro, Im not tryin to be a dick. Live your life how you want. Im just telling you from experience, it doesnt stay that way. You may smoke all your life, I still do from time to time. But as awesome as weed is, its just not something you can do all day everyday.

Smoking weed so freely, doesnt last very long. And youre hearing this from someone who puffs. Although I enjoy it, it has DRASTICALLY decreased as I have gotten older. So, if you think life is gonna stay that way, I got two things to tell you:

2. You will realize that youyre talking your age, and only someone as immature would think that you have the blueprint on life as it is.

Totally agree Z, this and your last reply. I understand hes lookin out for his family, but how bad would his family suffer getting a big payday from any other team. And when I say big, I mean big to us. I know he wont get CJ2K type money, but he wont be poor. So as a fan, I flip him off for goin to the enemy, especially since he trashed the enemy so recently.

I wouldnt be too upset if we took him first, but I really dont want to use a high draft pick on a TE. I think we can get a decent to good one in either the later rounds, via free agency or find a diamond in the rough on our roster. Especially since Gilbride doesnt utilize the TE position much.

Havnt researched him alot but apparently hes a great blocker already with all the physical tools to be a really good receiver.

On a few draft boards he was. I was surprised as well. Not alot of TEs go in the 1st round.

Agreed, I mean, if another DE is drafted in the first this year, by the time he pans out (if he pans out) we'd just be worrying about having to resign a guy like Justin Tuck or JPP, anyway...and we'd be in the same exact position. You can't always have 4 starting quality DEs (counting Kiwanuka....5 if you count Tollefson which I am inclined to do so, he's a good player)....

Oh, I definitely include Tollefson when referring to our good DE's, thats why I say we have an influx of good pass rushers. Yeah man, we dont wanna end up back hee when we could be grooming a stud TE or RB from the draft. I really would like to get that TE outta Georgia. I watched him alot this past season, because my Aunt works at the Univ. of Georgia. I know alot dont want a TE with the 1st pick, but its our most pressing need. And that kids got good hands and can block. LB will be better with a yr under Jones and Williams belt. And possibly getting Goff back.
