  1. That HAS to be a joke. That cant be real. Someone cannot be that unknowledgeable about football, and make a living reporting it. Are you friggin kiddin me? So, this guy's tryin to tell me that the Lions , Rams and Vikings have a better QB than the Eagles? And they had the CARDINALS....thats right....THE CARDINALS, ranked higher in RB than the Gmen. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. It is??? Thats Wizdumb??? I knew D$P was an eaglet fan, thats why I was surprised.
  3. Agreed. I mainly posted this to screw w/ the guy who posted the other Tiki thread. But Tiki's great on and off the field. Had to show it.
  4. And why does someone who has a sign on name of "Donovan for Prez", have an LT jersey on?
  5. Probably thier mom, seeing as Cooperaint in to football.
  6. Barber Honored as Media "Good Guy" Receives Good Guy Award for cooperation with the media. By Michael Eisen, Giants.com Read this story from your BlackBerry, phone or other wireless device at http://giants.com/wireless June 28, 2006 EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Tiki Barber has received the Good Guy Award for cooperation with the media from the Professional Football Writers of America. It is the second such award Barber has received. In December, the Giants’ record-setting running back was voted the winner of the fifth annual George Young Good Guy Award by the Giants' chapter of the Professional Football Writers. RB Tiki Barber has been honored by the Professional Football Writers of America for his cooperation with the media. “I'm honored that the PFWA selected me for this award,” Barber said of the national honor. “It represents the kind of person I try to be - respectful and courteous to everyone. I hope that I provide a good example for many to emulate.” Barber has been one of the Giants’ most accessible and cooperative players since joining the team in 1997. He is known for his friendly demeanor, patience, candor and the long, thoughtful responses with which he answers most questions. Barber is one of the most accessible star athletes in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. He is a go-to guy in the locker room for both print and electronic media and his weekly meetings with reporters always draw large crowds. In the offseason, Barber is a member of the media. He hosts two shows on Sirius Satellite Radio, is a regular contributor to “FOX and Friends” on the FOX News Channel and was a guest host on Good Day New York on FOX 5. In the past, Barber has been a substitute sportscaster for the CBS affiliate in New York. “Media cooperation is essential for the health of our game,” Barber said. “They report our feats, chronicle our seasons and tell our stories to the world and our ever eager fans." The George Young Award, named for the late general manager of the Giants, is given annually to honor a Giants player for his consistent and outstanding cooperation with the writers who cover the team on a daily basis. Previous winners include Lomas Brown, Kerry Collins, Ike Hilliard and Kurt Warner. Barber, who played in each of the last two Pro Bowls, holds the Giants’ rushing records for both a single season (1,860 in 2005) and career (8,787). He is also second on the franchise’s career list with 528 receptions, one behind Amani Toomer.
  7. You gotta point. Although, no matter how you slice it, having a good team around you is key, but Archie never made it to a post game, and it was a good portion of his own fault. Peyton has though, and some of that learning had to come from Archie. Peyton learned from Archie, Eli is learnin from Peyton. Its a gradual process, which I believe will work great for Eli.
  8. He very well may have his own style. I mean, he's smart like Montana, not as unmobile a Marino, but not as mobile as Cunningham or even Elway. Not a gun for an arm like Collins, but not whimpy. I think he does kinda resemble Brady in a way.
  9. I would say Sean Taylor, only because I dont want him to kill me 1st!
  10. With all the weapons we have, we may not need Eli do do #1 that often. But I already believe he can do that. Just look at the Denver game and the Seattle game minus the Feeley fuck ups.
  11. My guess, like Terry Bradshaw or somthin like that. Will be smart enough to win many games and championships, as long as he has the team to go with him. I believe he will.
  12. LOL...I just have to laugh everytime I see that pic.
  13. And what types of teams did these QB's have at the time??? Thats right, COMPLETLEY HEALTHY teams. This team assembled is pretty new together, w/ the QB in his 1st full year. Big difference. NOTE NOTE.........SEE ABOVE POST!!!! McNabb may ahve won his 1st one, but choked 4 times thereafter. Not impressive.
  14. Exactly. You gotta crawl B4 you can walk. Its funny to me how Eagle fans use that playoff game as trash talk. Like it was something unexpected. A young QB in his first playoff appearance with half his team injured, what did you think would happen? And, you gotta remember, Its better to go and lose, then to not go at all.
  15. I just think this thread got outta hand. I see what you were orig. posting, but comparing stats in thier 1st 4 years is gonna give some the idea that you are comparing the actual players. Westy does kill us sometimes, I'll give you that. But theres no comparison over all. Westy needs to be in the league a little longer, as previously stated.
  16. Just ask Charles, he had the unfortunate luck to have played with him.
  17. Well, Tom I can see. But if he wants to be like Peyton and McNabb, he must want to choke when it all counts. C'mon Eli, you're better than that. BTW, I respect those 2.
  18. Exactly. His #'s in his 1st 4 years were like that because he didnt carry the full load. Philly never really had a pass offense, so Wetbrook did more. But whats more interesting is the fact that you compared thier FIRST FOUR YEARS!!! Whats happened since? I'll tell you. TIKI=ONE OF THE BEST RB's IN FOOTBALL. Westy=Average at best.
  19. Good for you, he was anightmare.
  20. Just the thought of Dave Brown should be enough to scare anyone.
  21. Very good lines, yes, but not much else. That used to be enough to worry me, but the Gints have improved vastly, I totally expect to take the div. again
