  1. This is what happens when you become conservative on offense and pathetic on defense. I can't believe this shit right now. I'm overly pissed off right now. The whole coaching staff needs to be fired, and Burress, Manning and Kiwi all need a savage beating.

  2. That's alright. I don't mind watching them get their rings. It'll make it that much sweeter when we kick their asses. My Bulls did the same thing to the Heat on opening night. We won by over 40 after the ring ceremony. Hopefully the Mets don't follow the Bulls and look like shit for the next few games though.

  3. Maybe it's because we have the Titans next week, but something tells me that this is the last we'll see of bad Giants football. I dunno... maybe it's true or maybe it's misplaced optimism... but I have a feeling that the Giants are gonna do something amazing in the next few weeks. This was a rough last two games but we have our guys coming back soon and I can feel a change in our luck as of late coming on.

Now that being said... Hopefully Strahan and Osi will be back at full strength soon and we can formulate some kind of a pass rush. And I am praying that Sam Madison recovers from his injury as soon as possible because it's painful to watch Webster look like a fool on almost every play.

We finally started giving Shockey the ball... but it still took forever to do. Come on people... it's not that hard to understand.

WTF happened to Tiki and Jacobs tonight? Not nearly enough carries. Tiki was getting shut down but again Jacobs ends up only getting a very small amount of touches. Tiki didn't look himself tonight either. I don't think that the thumb had anything to do with his lack of production in the running game but the dropped passes were another thing.

Defensive Pass Interference anyone? Carter and Burress were raped on those plays (you know which ones) and no flags were thrown? Wilford's play was different because his ball wasn't catchable and he was interfering just as much as Webster was, but these were clear cut DPIs and they were ignored.

Manning was very erratic tonight just as he's been for a while now. I think that losing a safety valve like Toomer is really starting to take its toll on him. However had the running game gotten going and Shockey been given the ball earlier I think that we have a completely different story. This is all the more reason to GET SHOCKEY INVOLVED FROM THE START OF THE GAME.

Can someone please tell Tim Lewis that we still have to cover the middle of the field. His zone schemes suck ass, but then again it's not like we have a shut down corner to rely on. Anyway this has to be fixed immediately.

I never thought in a million years I'd say this, but PLEASE GET WELL AND COME BACK SOON LUKE! Eli's scared to death without him and having to give him help is causing our passing game to suffer more than it already is.

Alright... now that I've gotten my analysis out of the way... it was a bad loss, but there's absolutely nothing we can do about it now. Time to focus on the Titans and time to focus on getting back to our winning ways.

    Also... GO BUCS on Thursday!

  4. Yeah, but my point is that everybody loves something like that until it ends up costing you big, then they can't understand why nobody nipped it in the bud.

I think that overly concerned about something that doesn't deserve it. We've been flagged for it once and haven't been flagged for it since... and it's not like they do it on EVERY play. They do it on GREAT defensive plays (with the exception of Kiwi's sack on Carr). Since when is it a problem to celebrate a positive defensive play? Did anyone have an issue with the Mile High Salute or the Dirty Bird a few years back? Both of those were "team exclusive" celebrations so what's the issue with the Giants being Ballers? I think that our team is smart enough to know not to take it to the level of taunting or anything else that could be detrimental.

  5. No one besides us predicted success. The "experts" were busy nominating the Dolfins to win the SB.. go figure.. and they pretty much put us at the bottom of the division.

I predicted a 12-4 season at worst (and that's factoring in losing the last game of the season because we're resting our starters.. etc)

I would say that I predicted 12-4 as well, but I do that every year. :P

  6. Exactly. We ran all over the Colts and the bears have beaten only 2 teams that are worthy.

Not to mention that we have the hardest schedule in the NFL and are about to be 6-2 and the halfway point. Did anyone besides us really think that this was possible? At this rate I'd say that we can end up either 12-4 or 13-3 and fighting for home field advantage in the NFC come playoff time. :P:rock::flex:

  7. irvin shouldn't have called tiki a quitter--he was wrong for that. but if tiki wants to get into the media business he'd better realize this is how it works. those guys are entitled to their opinions whether they end up being wrong or not. im sure tiki won't be calling everyone he voices an opinion on, so why should they clear anything they say about him with him first?

True... they are entitled to their opinions, but Irvin's wasn't just wrong... it was retarded. You don't call anyone out like that and expect it to just be taken. Shit, he's lucky that it was Tiki and not someone else that he just happened to deem as a quitter. Tiki was correct in defending himself and if they knew what the hell was going on they'd have known that the talk of Tiki retiring has been going on for years. The comments that were made about him were completely unjustified and he should be able to defend himself. To take it even further... during the last offseason Tiki said that if we won a championship or he felt that we weren't contenders anymore he was done. So is this really coming as a shock? Is Tiki really being detrimental to the success of his team? Has he created a season-long distraction? Or is Michael Irvin just an asshole for calling Tiki Barber, the man that has been the majority of our offense for the past six years, a quitter? And KP I'm not taking shots at you or anything with this, but this whole thing is really retarded. We (the fans) knew it was coming... The team knew it was coming... the coaches knew it was coming... and I'm sure the FO knew it was coming... so what's the problem?

  8. Favorites

    1. Giants White (2000-2004)

    2. Giants Blue (All Styles)

    3. Cardinals White (current)

    4. Chargers Light Blue

    5. Giants Red

    6. Falcons Black

    Most Hated

    1. Giants White (current)

    2. Bills (All)

    3. Dolphins (Aqua)

    4. Redskins (Arrowhead helmet uniforms)

    5. Eagles (Black)

    6. Cowboys (Blue with White Shoulder Star)

Now I actually kinda like the Eagles Black uniform but the green collar looks retarded. If it was solid black then there wouldn't be a problem. Also I wouldn't have a problem with the Giants current white if it was used as an alternate like the red on is, but they replaced my favorite uniform with this old Cardinals knockoff. Therefore I hate it.

  9. no one is disrespecting us anymore. they're all jumping on the bandwagon which i hate. we will be getting praise from everyone, we deserve it.

I still feel that it's disrespect that the team in the NFL with the hardest schedule is 4-2 and on top of their division, but all the talk in the media is about the so called QB controversy in Dallas. And it's not just ESPN... I turned on WFAN today (by accident cause I was changing CDs in the car) and Mike and the Mad Dog were in a debate about it. Now if the New York media's top story is a QB controversy in Dallas I'd say that we are Still disrespected. I don't disagree with you about people jumping on the bandwagon (i.e. Eric Allen), but it's not like they've all recognized that we are for real.
