I didn't get to watch the game (thank god) but what is with the running of Tiki again? Less than 20 carries again for good yardage and did BJ play at all? Is Archie making the play calls?

EA before the draft pointed out that pass rushing is key. He is right but too bad Lewis doesn't have clue what that means. With the Giants DLine it should be easy but somehow Lewis just can't figure it out. Look at the first Dallas game for what good pressure can do for an average D.

I have never in my life seen a zone defense so wide open out there...and not against superstars. A lot of these wide open plays are the other teams second and third stringers most of the time. They might as well go 46 and just put 8 guys in the box because that is their only chance to win a game.

That is exactly what should have been done. The games that the Giants D has looked good is when the D goes all out. With the DLine that the Giants have making schemes to cause constant pressure should be a no brainer. Too bad Lewis has no brain and Huff is a moron. What kind of drive was that at the end of the game and why did Tiki have less than 20 carries again?

I root for no-one but the Giants. I don't care what position we're in. Control you're own destiny. If you can't that means somethings not right and the fact that someone else fucking up might help us get in , doesn't fix the fact that there's a lot wrong with this team now.

If tiki would have lowered his head and hit that guy instead of trying to swat the ball, the int would not have happened. With a tipped ball you can hit anyone before the ball gets there.

We have all the time in the world to analyze while Tiki had a second to make a decision. Eli should never have thrown that duck and put Tiki in that lose lose situation.

Didn't Osi sign a long term deal last year? Maybe it's all back ended. Jacobs deserves more money too. Are you sure this is the current payroll? Didn't Taylor retire?

We should keep Plax and when Toomer went down is when Eli went to shit. Toomer is the crisp route, possession receiver that this team is now lacking. The OC and DC need to go. If 90% of this MB wonders what the fuck is going on with the play calling then there is a serious problem. I know everybody is a Monday morning QB but the play calling is poor. When even the announcers are second guessing the play calling (almost every game) then there is deffinetly a major problem. With all the turmoil I can't imagine that TC or Huff or Lewis will be back. Neither can make adjustments.

Also blaming injuries is a poor excuse. Every team has to deal with injuries.

Did you see Tyree dive and steal a ball out of the air that was intended for Carter, falling out of bounds with it? INCOMPLETE PASS!!! It would have been good for a first down. What the hell are these guys doing out there????

I knew we were going to miss Toomer more than anyone else.

That was crazy when Tyree just flies in out of nowhere. What's even crazier is that Tyree is only like 50 yards behind Carter and he was the 4th WR at one time. Toomer meant more than I think most people realized; maybe it's because he was actually trying. I swear Plax hates Eli or something.

Toomer gets injured and Eli turns into garbage. With Plax giving up on routes is there really a go to WR anymore? What the hell happened to Carter anyway? Is he worried about getting injured again or something? Tyree should be the number 2 WR.

That's not the point...In all 3 game we had chances to win. But we shot ourselves in the foot so many time its embarrassing. I'm not going to give up...But its very frustrating watching this team so far.

just like i said weeks ago while we were in the midst of our 5 game winning streak--this team would quit on coughlin much faster than they quit on fassel as soon as the injuries piled up or things started to go south.

Where the fuck do they find these coaches? Tiki is retiring and they still can't find a reason to play? Next time Plax is laughing and smiling after a loss TC or Shockey should smack the shit out of him. Also Plax has obviously given up on Opie.

Really though he was fucked either way. To get that sack he would have had to throw Young to the ground and would have probably gotten a penalty. With what happened though a penalty would have been better. Fucking pansy rules are making D players hesitant.

He fell down because he knew it was the Giants last good chance. He was right and the rest of your post is dead on. Huff needs to be bitched slapped so that he will remember that running the ball is very necessary.

To be perfectly honest I think Plax has no faith whatsoever in Eli. Most of the times he is rolling his eyes or giving disgusted looks to Eli. Maybe he is just tired of the poor throws that he has to make circus catches for or the 10 yards away from him throws. I will admit he has attitude issues (as the announcers pointed out professionals never quit) but it seems he just can't stand the bad throws by Eli.

Did any of you think Burress could have caught that ball with two hands outstretched and stayed in stride? It looked to me like he could have grabbed that ball on the run and possibly even scored, instead he tried to tip it to himself and make it a harder catch. I'm not really trying to bash him here, just frustrated and wondering what other people thought of this play.

Sure if Eli threw it to him there. People seem to like bashing Plax but I cringe to think what this teams record would be without him. He has made some spectacular plays on some awful Eli throws.
