I though it was over after 4-0 but as usual Ottawa almost blew it.
-
What is this the Detroit Lions? Is Moss not going to be any good? Why do the Giants end up with so many gimps? At least Reese is getting rid of those gimps.
-
We will see. Don't forget how good of an offense the devils have now. I respect Ottawa, but don't be so quick to overlook us.
Just yanking your guys chains. It's so fucking boring the NHL section I figured I should start some shit to make things interesting. Let's hope for a good series.
-
Game Over Man, Game Over. Sens in 5. That is all.
-
Fuck, how come it's never at Minnesota. Ohh well maybe next year. :brooding:
-
True, lets see what happens if the Sens actually play a team that knows what the post-season is all about.
Sens better suited for a run this year
Just bring it.
-
The Bears, Jaguars, and 3rd game against the Eagles say otherwise.
Toomer going down and the Offense going to shit also says otherwise. I don't think we need a 1st round WR but then again.
-
Who cares? If we wanted him here, he'd be here already.
But now he doesn't cost a draft pick.
-
Yeah right, the biggest choke team in the history of the NHL post-season...... please. Every year with the Sens, this year they go all the way...... fuck that, not while they have that little pissant Alfredsson with the C.
:worshippy: Growing mine!
Yeah well it's on like Donkey Kong this year.

Yay, 2 gimp WRs on the roster (maybe 3).

Two things about the Franchise Tag:
1. The money isn't guaranteed. You get hurt and you get screwed.
2. The Tag (according to ESPN) was implemented back in 1993. So these players had nothing to do with it being created.
Now granted, I wouldn't be bitching about $5-8Million, but you have to look at it from the player's prospective. Say that Lance Briggs goes out and plays a full season for the Bears and tears his ACL. The Bears could then say, "Sucks for you Lance. You're cut." and then Briggs is left out in the cold with nothing to fall back on. If that $5-8Million was guaranteed money and the players were still complaining, then I might feel differently, but the Franchise Tag was a terrible idea no matter who wanted it.
Then they should have gotten an education while in college. Fuck what a good athlete makes in 1 year would be good enough for the vast majority of the population to live on for many years. I understand that they want to cash in but where the hell is the professionalism anymore?

This one ain't much of a winner either.
Carolina Panthers - Curtis Deloatch signed

If I am a Raiders I am blowing my load right now. I can sign David Carr, a relatively young guy who is tough(been sacked 249 times) and has potential to be my QB. I can then draft Calvin Johnson to be my go to WR to go along with my young QB and trade Randy Moss for a plethora of later round picks to restock a roster that is weak. With my early 2nd round pick I can draft a OT(possibly guy from Central Michigan Joe Staley). I wind up with Carr, Johnson and Staley, rid my roster of a turd like Moss and place those three guys among Lamont Jordan and Jerry Porter.
Is Porter going to play for the Raiders still? After last year you'd think he would want out. Sounds like a good plan but I don't think the Raiders make good plans. If there is no interest we should definitely get Carr as our backup QB because the Pillsbury Throw Boy and The View guy aren't going to cut it if Eli goes down. Hell Carr would probably be happy to not be face down in the turf constantly.
-
I wonder where David Carr will go. I'm not convinced he's a bust.
He isn't a bust at all, he's a Texan. If he gets no interest he'd be a great backup QB, considering the Giants don't have one.
-
Don't do it Nem, it is the worse idea by your guys yet!
Actually it's a good idea because you can get the casual poster that may turn into a regular. I have so many stupid Internet accounts that unless I really want the service or post on a board I won't if it requires an account. Just make sure that if you allow guest accounts you use a good CAPTCHA.
Also what does it matter if less people create accounts? A MB will only become very popular when it gets critical mass. That's what is currently holding this board back, only 20 people posting in the Giants section. Let Guests post and you may get many more posts causing more interest causing more members to join. As it is there aren't enough people and that's why people still use the awful GMB.

:brooding:
I think Reese is just napping in his office all day. It seems like the Giants have done the least amount of signing.
-
Gone also:
Arizona Cardinals Roderick Hood signed/unrestricted free agent, Five-year contract
-
-
Is he still on Dallas' payroll?
I was wondering the same thing but then I saw that Dallas actually resigned Gramatica to a 2 year contract. If Gramatica is getting resigned over Vanderjagt then he must be really damaged goods. Vanderjagt is a Canadian so he probably plays better drunk anyway.
-
What a joke. They would have been better off with no coach. How do some of these guys get so many chances.
-
the one with a pre-torn pectoral muscle?
I asked if I could get that added but it cost too much so I just did it myself. It's about time somebody stopped signing gimps.
-
I'm not kidding. Last year they plugged the shit out of those on the team shop site. His jersey was for sale the afternoon after he signed.
I chose Osi over Lavar a few weeks ago. YESS!!!
I hope they don't cut Eli. Just got another one.
Yeah, now what the hell am I supposed to do with my Emmons jersey.
-
I'm saying this because in the past the Giants have always stayed away from players with character issues.
A good policy.

San Fran was obviously the best team. They had pass plays that you could actually pass on even when the computer picked the play you called, and Lott was a beast on D.
Of course if you called the right play you could do this:
Is that Bo Jackson? Bo knows football.
Giants couldn't have made this trade?

Well I think if the Giants drafted Poz the dissension would have been minimal. He seemed to be the fan favourite.
