I didn't like the Nassib pick .......but since he's here and we have invested a lot of time and energy in him I hope he has a successful camp. It would be good to see him playing with confidence behind a 'half decent' O line during the preseason games too ( unlike last year ). Its a bloody shame he wasn't given a chance in week 16/17 last season too in my opinion ! Anyway I hope he locks down the #2 QB spot ( because I think we will only carry two ) .... and if he cant beat Painter his career is over.

yes ....i'm having camp thoughts ...and yes this definitely makes me gay . but in all seriousness .....with training camp only 4 days away ...how about a bit of discussion ? 1) Is Nassib really going to beat out Painter to be Eli's backup ? ( and would you be happy anyway ? ) 2) Can John Jerry prove himself and become part of our O line ? 3) Will Wilson , Snee and Beatty make it back from injury to be starters for the Giants in 2014 ? Its nearly that time again ....I can smell Giants football approaching !

Good signing JR. He is not the great player he once was , but he has an excellent footballing brain and huge amounts of knowledge and experience. I think he will be refreshed by leaving Utd and will relish one last challenge with QPR. Harry will know how to get the best out of him this season.

I agree Boo and JR , that he will be very difficult to replace , but he would not have been playing until Nov. the media over here were going to make it impossible for him with their hounding and hatred. He would have become a huge distraction for Liverpool . Rodgers is more about team than one player ( even the best player in the World ). I expect Liverpool to continue to invest heavily and strengthen. It is a big shame that the biting incident happened ..... But eventually a club has to move on.

It looks like Suarez has played his last game for Liverpool. I have a couple of friends who have contacts in LFC and they confirm that the club have decided to get rid of him to Barcelona if they can get 70M. Deal should be done in a few days time. Time to move on.

so guys ......who are you picking to win the World Cup. With the conditions and heat and humidity i'm definitely thinking a South American country.....so i'm going for Argentina. Messi and Aguero will be unstoppable and this team could be ruthless going forward. Plus they have an easy group so they wont expend much energy , injury or cards early on. What do you reckon ?

Boo ......if we get out of the group in the World Cup it will be a bloody miracle ! Nobody over here expects anything ........and therefore Hodgson has selected a young team with nothing to lose. Everything is just a bonus .......I can see us getting a draw with Italy in a cagy opening game ( because that might suit both teams ) ......maybe a draw with Uraguay ( but probably a loss ) ....and then it comes down to a game with Costa Rica in which anything can happen ! Can't see USA getting above Portugal of Germany either ..........so probably an early flight home for both our countries ! But I love the World Cup ...it is an amazing festival of sport ........im just going to immerse myself in it and enjoy the drama.
