Awesome explanation, thanks Shake.
Agreed. That was very helpful Shake, thanks
You think? I think Cruz is pissed that something can't get done and is looking to stay.
That was my thought as well.

Yeah, I wouldn't blame him for it at all.Could be.....if I remember, it's his hip.
He's financially set for life, and has 2 rings...... he's probably thinking about being able to walk without a cane down the line.
-
Ok haha. I was pretty confused there. No that was how he described Eli's leadership.
-
Falcons, then Ravens, then Pats.
BTW, I spoke to Tiki Barber yesterday. I saw him when he was out on a jog. He slowed down and talked to me for a little bit. Seemed like a really nice guy.

Good luck in the playoffs GBfan
-
Well I don't think it's possible but I'd love to see him back in Blue for the big race to the finish. He's a dependable blocker and a good voice on the field/sideline/lockerroom. Plus he's familiar with the 49ers offense which could end up being handy.

Sign him Reese! Is Rodney Hampton available?
-
I agree completely.I didn't mind Bradshaw losing his shit---he was quite obviously right. As far as I know, it happened after Eli threw that pick, backed in our own end....when he should have been being fed constantly. He didn't rush all that bad today, despite seemingly being held to low numbers----there was no rhythm, rhyme, or reason behind the offensive playcalling today, especially when it came to a rushing game that had like, what 400 yards of offense in the last two games? It was atrocious. This isn't the time to get cute and fancy.

You mean Bob Griffin?
-
Now you sound like Clay Matthews, bro....if I recall correctly, the Haggis Hammer missed like 15 field goal attempts to put them away.....but yeah, I love to pick on my one buddy who is a die hard Packers fan and one time I was asking him random Packers trivia (like he was clueless that Ryan Grant was on our practice squad and team for a little bit) and I threw in a "Who caught Brett Favre's final pass in his storied career as a Packer?" and the answer, of course, is Corey Webster, lmao.

Really, you guys didn't like handsome professional athletes? What's he done that's so bad? He's never come off as a bad guy to me, I don't recall so at least. It's not like he's yelling at his players on the sidelines or getting in trouble off the field like others guys. He seems like a pretty regular dude.Really? Romo seems like a douchey, preppy, frat-boy (he's a member of my fraternity) to me....exactly the type of dude my chapter wouldn't have allowed to Pledge.....
-
I agree. While not clutch, or at least not yet, I think he is a good quarterback. And, I agree with Seph, he seems like an all right guy. I can't physical root for a Cowboy but if he did go somewhere else I wouldn't mind seeing him do well.Without Romo, that team would be a doormat.

Lotta games left GB, and a lot of talent on that roster. They'll be in the mix for sure

Hixon always looked talented but couldn't stay healthy. I thought he was going to turn out like Cruz did (before Cruz of course) but couldn't stay on the field. In fact, when Cruz got hurt his rookie year I thought shit here's another Hixon.

If you ever disparage Joe Morris like that again I'm leaving and not coming back.
Joe Morris vs San Fran in the playoffs.

Absolutely. Speed kills in pursuit. Bradshaw will be the main back.Peterson had 86 yards on 25 carries. even joe morris can do that. (he wasn't fast)
The Vikings won by limiting the 9er running game and putting he game in the tiny hands of alex smith.
And causing turnovers..
It's much too simple to say we need a fast RB because their LB's are fast. Sometimes the best thing to do is run right at them.
-
I agree with you guys.
What a run though...
We've got a talented group of rbs and wrs.
-
I liked it a lot. Coughlin is awesome.
-
They also had Eli's 200+yard passing streak; which is kinda legit
-
Hah, when they said that I immediately thought of this thread."Martellus Bennett: first Giant with a TD in first 3 games on the team."
Only took 4 minutes.
-
I think the play in question was more about hitting the unsuspecting lineman who would in turn hit the QB, causing a fumble or botched snap. I don't think Eli was actually touched by a Buc.
-
I agree. I just don't think this year is out of ordinary for him, not yet at least. That's actually my criticism... he's a part time player.
-
Osi is a big game guy. He'll disappear a couple of games then have a 3 sack game. He'll be fineIs it me or this guy isn't showing up to play?
-
Osi gets two sacks.
Wilson gets a 30+ yard run.
Coughlin wins a challenge.
Retiring Numbers
in New York Giants
Posted
It seems teams don't retire numbers as often as they use to. If anyone, Strahan. They will not retire Toomer or Tiki's. If Eli wins another Super Bowl then I think he will get his retired, but I don't think so as of now.
