  1. That's a hefty price to pay for interior lineman help if you ask me. I'd rather go through the draft. Alford and Cofield have the potential to be big players for us in the future, in fact Cofield may already be there.

guess robbings is going to be a big FA next year. He's been very good for us and the first half of this season before he got hurt he was a monster

  2. True, Michael Boley however, doesn't have gaudy stats, so unless we have Falcon-watchers here he sounds like more of the same. I guess the days of dominating and playmaking linebackers is over.

Hell, the last time I saw an LB interception was when Kawika Mitchell was still on the team.

Nope - we had one in Pittsburg

  3. When has this proved successful in the past for us? Why go out and overpay for a really shitty FA market this year?

Wait for when someone who is actually going to make an impact on the team to be out there and who wants to play for us and not for the money i.e. Haynesworth(sp) looking for a 100+ million year deal.

I mean if you want off season shit fest of signing over rated players for crazy amounts go root for Oakland :P

Oh ha check out my picture by my name... im sealed in NY Giants ink and Im never going anywhere even if we pull a 0-16 like Detroit

  4. The price is abit much but he had played really well the rest of the season when he went to the Redskins. If he continues to play like he did in the later part of the season for them they have a good CB on their hands..... or he could just spit in someones face again I dont know.

He's overrated but how do they get the Jason Taylor's, Deangelo Hall's, Clinton Portis's etc etc... even though they suck atleast they try to add big pieces sometimes. I would love for us to really make a push for Boldin or TJ (and yes I know Boldin is not a FA and I know TJ is no Plax) but i would still like TJ on the team

  5. Hey, atleast we're not the Redskins or Carolina(1.8mil under the cap )

This is true... but I would still like to be able to get excited more than once a decade (Plaxico) - or maybe twice (since I liked the Collins signing) and see the Giants actually do something.

  6. to all the dummdums who cant get over my "history" Peyton Manning is a sure HOF QB and former and maybe present League MVP

Eli rode a Spaguola led D to one SB victory...........and his best pass of all time was another friggen off target duck

It was miraculouly caught in triple coverage by a guy nailing it to his helmet with super strength and agility

I stopped lauding Pro Bowl appearances when I was 12 years old.........the pro bowl is a farce with no incentive to win it

Eli is a good QB with the ability to improve.....his brother is already as good as it gets

as to the guy who said Peyton also cannot throw a spiral.....who knew? maybe its a genetic issue

I guess the bullet throw to Steve Smith on the sidelines in which Smith tip toed the siudelines for a first down wasn't a good throw? If that throw is a little off we probably don't win the superbowl - but it wasn't - it was a damn bullet at his chest in a huge point in the game. Bash Eli all you want. Other than Ben he's the best 4th quarter quarterback in the NFL

  7. It won't be until Chase is out of the NFL in a few years that this joker will give it a rest.... maybe not even then... god forbid he speaks a bad word on the subject of Jesse Palmer who was jesus christ reincarnated on the NFL field to Jakk. Apparently having a NFL career of around 5 years or less and doing absolutely nothing elevates one to superstar status

  8. Thoughout giants history they have made lousy front runners

The fall off after Plaxico shot himself could not have been all him

I suspect Coughlin is losing his sway a bit

With Spags gone things could get ugly quick this year

Go away. Only a retard would want to get rid of a coach who has taken this team to 4 straight playoff appearances avoided the superbowl hangover by starting 11-1. Plax screwed the team I'll give you that but quit it with the nonsense. As far as losing Spags, it sucks but we have a top 5 defense a top 5 corner, an emerging corner in Terrell Thomas, an emerging stud safety, we are getting our best pass rusher back from injury and we will strengthen our linebacking core.

  9. Actually that isnt lol.

The only thing I don't understand is during the playoff run he was playing like a man possessed, as soon as someone touched him those legs were kicking at 150 mph. This year as soon as he was touched he fell over almost like he was shying away from contact. Maybe he had some sort of lingering injury throughout the year that the coaching staff never mentioned, all I know is from pre-season to regular Bradshaw looked nothing like he did in the playoffs.

crazy talk.. bradshaw would have done the exact same thing ward did if they switched roles. Bradshaw is so shifty it amazes me that we didnt utilize him with the screen pass more. But to say he didn't look good is wrong. He just hardly played and when he did I remember him breaking a screen pass for a touchdown vs. st louis and breaking a 70 yard run against the Ravens.

  10. I kinda agree. Bradshaw didn't impress at all this year.

We also have the yet to be tested Danny Ware.

67 carries for 355 yards at 5.3 yards per carry - not impressive huh? Could it be that he was just severely under utilized and hardly touched the field?

  11. I wish there was a chance of the Giants getting him. I know there's zero chance but the guy is a monster at DE and many teams are talking about him playing linebacker for them too.

    Check him out...
