they stole him..I dont know why the dbacks didnt take the mariners offer(unless upton veto'd it), it was much, much better.

the yankees could have offered them a much better deal than what they got..Im sure a lot of teams could have. I dont know what AZ was thinking..their entire offseason has been puzzling.

Overrated. He's a good player, but he strikes out a lot. He's has pretty good power, strikes out a lot, and he's a lifetime .278 hitter. He's good, but it's not like the Braves got the player that the hype is all about. Josh Hamilton got less hype going to the Angels and he's twice the hitter that Upton is.

True but Upton is 25 years old and very fast as well.

.278 isn't bad either.

he is 25 years old, not even in his prime. the potential is superstardom...and if he stays what he is now, he is still an above average player.

worth what they gave up for him. Like you said he has MVP upside and putting him with his brother could help both of their games.
