Good win today...they have to beat Baltimore at least 16 times this year.

Last year, they lost like 6 games to them...it pretty much cost them the division.

But I love this team...they are as complete as I can recall.

And they have some key players injured.

They should be a ton of fun to watch. I might even go to that warehouse/ museum/industrial looking eyesore that they call the new Yankees stadium to see a few games.

But I'll definitely go to the games at the beautiful and endearing Citi field

I tried to listen on the radio to the Yankee Network...but JESUS does their broadcast blow. The chick is okay but holy fuck the guy was all over the place.

On that dropped pop up to the O's catcher that doubled up ..I think Judge.....he is trying to score it...I'm screaming "infield fly" into the radio like a fucking lunatic.

But yeah...they are going to be fun ...they are deep....and that bully is going to be the shit. They will also be playing some smaller ball from the sounds of it...which is good cause those bombs slowed down towards crunch time last year.

Infield defense is going to an issue at some point....Tulo has lost a half step and Tommy John is not something Didi is just going to pop back from....Torres is not a natural 2B...and unfortunately it looks like Adjudar is going to be an adventure again at 3b. Hopefully Sanchez isnt a cluster fuck on D this year.

Little shit like that will count against the BoSox.

Not the way you want to start the season, losing 2 of 3 to a single a team..but it's only the first series in a long season

I know...but Jesus ....Sanchez as two Es in three games and neither of them were past balls...his forte...just proving he is a risk with either hand. If he is getting the "Sax" they need to DH his ass or package him and trade for a guy that can call a good game and be reliable.,,,he looks like a big mess back there - I can't imagine he is calling good games....Dickey, Berra/Howard, Munson and Posada......that is the secret sauce and Sanchez ain't that.

...and fuck it all ready...move Torres to SS and LeMieau to 2b let them develop some chemistry......with Hicks ..that would be a pretty good up the middle for them.....you win up the middle on defense in MLB.....

Making me crazy and it isn't even April 2nd yet.

They, like the Giants are on pace to lose over 160 games.

The Yanks won the opener...but 54 and 108 is almost as bad.

I was being sarcastically absurd. But for the Giants, I was being statistically accurate. :(

Sanchez will be fine. He really hasn't played much in the last year.

Also, the Yankees have their ace, their crafty veteran leader, starting ss and starting CF out with injuries. They should still beat the single a Orioles, not an excuse, but that's a lot of injuries to key players.

Its frustrating, but it's a long season.

The Mariners just took 3 of 4 from the red Sox

Add andujar to the list of injured yankee starters.

This is insane

Starting ss, 3rd basemen, center fielder, left fielder, ace pitcher, 4th starter veteran staff leader, set up man, and dh

The good news is they are pretty deep for a change with position players...Tulo and LaMehieu are going to be solid spot starters (Other than Hicks....all of the replacements are significantly better or at least equal fielders...)......and Bird is starting to hit....and...that Bully is the shit.

(What...me worry?..... but.....)...........Sanchez got another "E" last night...and a HR.....but we cant have him getting the yips...particularly with that many pitchers out.

What do you guys know about Kevin Pillar from Toronto? Hear he’s all glove, no bat. Giants just traded for him. He’ll fit right in. :{

Phenomenal center fielder. Couldn't hit water if he fell into the ocean.

he had 15 homers last year, which would have tied him for the lead on the Giants. This year, his average is currently .063, which ties him for 2nd. :)

So what you are saying is....he was totally worth Samardzija and Bumgarner...

Fucking Cubs are loaded with solid position players they can't get on the field...Happ...Bote....Schwarber.....then take a couple of arms and maybe Adison Russel after the heat comes off his..well...women beating ....(maybe he can got anger management with the Giants owner).....they are a gold mine for somebody with a HOF arm to deal.

They keep dropping 6 Es a game all the pitching in the world isn't going to help them.

This is just awful..thank God it's a long season.

But this is just silly. I cant remember any team this ravaged by injuries to its starters all at once.

Their replacements are even going down. Sick
