Blue Jeans Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 Jul 5 - The Angels are finding few takers for Jeff Weaver, who was designated for assignment last week and is still owed $4 million for the remainder of this season. According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, Angels GM Bill Stoneman asked the Mets for outfield prospect Lastings Milledge in return for Weaver and was turned down.
