Forward Jamie Langenbrunner reached a new deal with the Devils just before Saturday's start to the free agency period, the team said Saturday. Langenbrunner, 30, had 19 goalks and a career-high 34 assists for the Devils in 2005-06 and added 3 goals and 10 assists in the playoffs. The Devils did not release contract details.
