gateb
We have four...count them, four good kick returners. (Morton, Ponder, McQuarter, Ward) Do we really need to use our 3rd round draft pick on another one. I'd be surprised if Ponder was on our final roster going into the season. Especially if we draft a WR in the first day: Plax Toomer Carter Tayor Tyree Potential draftee Ponder We aren't going to carry more then 6 WRs. I don't see him making the team. McQuarters is more for special teams coverage then anything else. Same with Ward. He only played a few games at KR. Morton is the only sure thing returner we really have right now. Pizan
Hound I like your first two picks but Drew... thats a no go for me. Its not just Drew its any RB in this draft especially one in the 3rd or later rounds. RBs of his talents come out every year, its the easiest position to find a guy like that, it just dont make sense for us to draft him. Especially since we are very solid at RB as it is. Sorry Gateb, but McQuarter was among the leader in kick return 2004.
Frank_Grimes
Nem... I think you get a little to concerned with workout numbers and size, if a guy can play he can play.

Frank_Grimes
not really, I just don't see why we need to use our 3rd round draft pick on another kickreturner. I'm not talking specifically about Drew.... I'm not sure I'd approve either, but every time you don't like a player it seems it is because he doesn't have ideal size or his 40 time wasn't quick enough. Not trying to call you out, just an observation
