BleedinBlue
The Yanks signed Eric Milton the other day. He was the one pitcher I wanted the Yanks to get back ever since they traded him to the Twins for Chuck Knoblauch and was by far, the best LHP in their farm system. When the Yanks played the Twins and faced Milton, he shut them down like no other lefty in the business. Milton used to own the Yankees....perhaps driven by the revenge factor for sending him to Minnesota....who knows. But after the Twins let him go to the Phillies a few years back, he's been hurt off and on for the past 3 years and is now coming off elbow surgery. But he still has a better than .500 average in the win/loss column after 3 years of big problems and many losses. The Yanks are going to see what he can do in the minors before handing him the ball in the big games. Anyone think he has any gas left in his tank? Man, if he could come back the way Tommy John did, he will have been a major steal. He has a pitchers brain, I just hope his body can follow his brain's orders. My fingers are crossed. Ditto
He never had any gas in the tank, Bleedin. He's a punching bag. I don't know what you see in him.
