Just like Tex was more attractive to other teams because he wasn't a rental for 1 year. braves get him for the 2008 season and the chance to re-sign him. Cano was one of the original players the Twins wanted for Santana, and young Steinbrenner just might cut him loose to feed his own ego or something.
