Herc
during the 20/20 they said that the yanks have officially offered hughes cabrera and a prospect for santana and that the twins are going back to boston to see if they'll give up lester, crisp and either ellsbury or bucholtz. if boston still refuses to throw in either of those last two then they are 'prepared to pull the trigger' on the yankees offer
Ditto
They're asking a hell of a lot, ain't they? No way the Sox go for that. As it is, the Sox can stand pat. They already have the best staff in baseball, IMO, especially if they add Bucholtz.

Ditto
Well he is the best pitcher in baseball. Did you know he gave up 33 hrs last year? A lot for him! It could be nothing, or it could be the start of something big.
RandolphScott
Did you know he gave up 33 hrs last year? A lot for him! It could be nothing, or it could be the start of something big. It happens, he is still far and wide the best pitcher in baseball. EDIT: The Twins are enamored with a package of Hughes, Cabrera and a mid-level prospect...they are now asking for Ian Kennedy in a deal. Not Ian Closer
