I don't know if anybody here went to the game last night.

The Yankees always invade Baltimore however last night was unreal.

I was there as I've been all season, and I swear it was 95% Yankee fans.

Everywhere you looked ALL you saw was BLUE, you would seldom run into an Orioles fan as they couldn't even attempt to drown out the Yankees rallies.

It was unreal, 95% Yankee fans, yes I know it's the end of the year but to be overturned like that wow Baltimore really pales as a sports town.

When the Ravens are playing and your baseball team is sucking, what would you rather watch?

That town is a football town now.

Thats the sad truth, I can remember like 10 to 15 years ago this entire area was in love with the O's, Baltimore was a great baseball town. A decade of shittyness and a great football team definately changes things I guess.

Baltimore always has been a football town, that gets swamped with baseball fans from New York, always has been.

In the 90s they had no football team and DC had no baseball team, Cal Ripken had the streak and the park was new=sellouts.

That was a product of circumstances and not representative of the Mid Atlantic which is really a shitty football only region.

So what kind of town is it? A football town or a baseball town filled with

New Yorkers.
