Lughead
And That’s That! September3 It’s officially, finally over. Michael Strahan got to Giants Stadium a little bit before 4 p.m., hung out with general manager Jerry Reese and coach Tom Coughlin for 45 minutes, and split. “Michael reported to the team this afternoon,” Reese said, explaining the late hour of arrival was due to some administrative issues that had to be resolved before Strahan could report. It is believed the reduction of the $557,232 in accumulated fines had to be cleared by someone in the NFL Players Association. At any rate, he’s in. All the rest is window dressing. Now he has to go about the business of proving that foot can stand up to real-time pressure. “We’ll see where he is as the week progresses,” Coughlin said. “We’ll evaluate what kind of role he may play this week.” The Giants also brought in three kickers for tryouts, including Green Bay cut Dave Rayner. And they brought back former practice squad OL Na’Shan Goddard to the practice squad, and signed Dolphins camp DB Geoffrey Pope and Rams’ camp WR Fred Gibson to the practice squad. The best news is that this whole, stupid Strahan saga is winding down to an end. All who believed it was really about retirement, raise their hands. Can’t wait to hear what he’s got to say about it. how good is Rayner? I dont recall seeing him play .

Lughead
I never heard of him. his stats look Feelyish but he has a stronger leg for Touchbacks (11 on the season). also I read some where that the winds at Lambeau are worse than Giants stadium . so take his stats with a grain of salt. Oh, and remember he was a rookie last year for Green Bay as well . he missed 9 Field goals last year but made 26 out of 35. thats roughly %75 here are his stats KICKING D.Rayner . . .
