  1. If not, then movies have lied to me my whole life.

The New York Giants are turning to The Terminator for assistance.

The Giants have agreed to a contract with fullback John Conner, the National Football Post reported Wednesday.

Giants starting fullback Henry Hynoski suffered a fractured shoulder in Sunday's 38-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The Giants reportedly feared Tuesday that Hynoski's injury could be season-ending. Conner's signing points toward that conclusion.

Conner, nicknamed "The Terminator," performed well with the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason. However the Bengals released him after deciding to keep the more versatile, former tight end, Orson Charles as their lead blocker.

Conner might be most well known for being New York Jets coach Rex Ryan's pet-projects during his three seasons with Gang Green. Ryan's fascination with 2010 fifth-round draft pick's bone-crushing blocks was one of the storylines on that season's edition of Hard Knocks.

As one of the few teams who utilizes a traditional fullback Conner fits the Giants' scheme. It won't, however, be the signing that turns their season around.

As Tom Coughlin said, "your team is your team."

  2. Goff was a Giant once already. What are we doing trying to make it 2007 again???? How Many Old Giants are we going to re sign? Might as well sign Tiki and Shawn O'hare bake Call Strahan up Hell LT might want to play again as well. Carl Banks Practically still on the team just on the media side He should be an easy sign. FUCK It bring back the TUNA.

Why not Kawika Mitchell? The best linebacker the Giants had in 2007 Is he even in the league anymore?

  3. Honestly, I've said this before... many times with fumbles, it comes down to coaching.

With Tiki, the guy actually LISTENED and held the ball differently. But then we had Plax, Shockey, Bradshaw, etc... none of those guys were "high and tight" guys, and they were all fumblers. Instead of reinforcing it through coaching and actually enforcing it, those guys got more playing time... never once did Plax go the bench after he held the ball like a carton of eggs.

I'm telling you right now, Nicks is a fumble waiting to happen... watch how he holds the ball... two points, away from his body. You learn THREE POINTS OF CONTACT in fucking pop warner. How can these assholes not know that?

In all fairness, when Nicks holds the ball it disappears like a can of beer in Andre the Giant's hand.

  4. Tebow is going to be one of these dudes that bounce around different football leagues for years, then, just when he's forgotten he's gong to come back to the nfl and have a few amazing seasons.

  5. I really don't know how he doesn't get fined for it....players get fined for wearing the wrong socks. He just looks sloppy compared to every other player on the field. I get it though, I never liked to tuck my shirt in when I played football and soccer but I would always get yelled at by my coach or, if I made it past him, the refs....

When Under Armour gets the jersey contract tucking in the jersey will no longer be an issue...or option for that matter.

  6. I hate Kaepernick because:

    1. He's the single most bizarre-looking human being I've ever seen.

    2. Who the fuck does he think he is, trying to trademark kissing your biceps? Does that fucking clown really think HE invented that?

    3. I hate read-option quarterbacks.

As for Manningham, good riddance. Can't help but notice once we lose the Steve Smiths and Mario Manninghams of the world, their careers are over.

We all know it was Big Pappa Pump, Scott Steiner.

  7. They're just trying to different packages... a "Pass rushing LB" is basically a DE if you wanna get down to it. Just like they have the Nascar package, it seems here they're trying to have a package where they load the line with big bodies (all the heavy DTs we got and have faster DEs play "LB" so they can really stop the run in its tracks.... I like it... and I doubt we will see a lot of it as it will be rare.

This is the time to try that kind of stuff. Once the season starts, there is no room to experiment.

  8. I heard a guy on the radio last week who grew up in apartheid-era South Africa. He said he was constantly shocked at what people found to be "racist" in the US. One guy asked if he wanted to go get some chicken, "no offense", and he was like "Why is that offensive? Chicken is delicious".

We've been brainwashed into thinking the smallest thing is a racial issue. It's how they keep us in line.
