He is and Dave wasn't a complete fuckup because he clearly got some right. 

But Dave was all about proving knew more than anyone else in the room and that's how we ended up with Golladay and the 2021 draft and no linemen. That last year alone set us back about 5 years.

It's too early. We have played 3 games and 2 of them against defenses with superior speed. We need to be more patient than this.

In 4 years as GM, Gettleman drafted 5 offensive linemen. One was a guy who never saw the field. He ignored it in 2021 and felt we had enough, fucking trading down for a specialist, skipping Rashawn Slater in the process (not to mention Parsons).

Schoen has addressed the line more in 2 years than Gettleman. He took Neal at 7, which was the guy we should have picked because he was rated by everyone that high. He would have been gone by 10 at worst.

Now if Neal and Ezeudu struggle this entire year, like I said you can start considering changes and I'm sure they will. It will be easy enough move Neal inside for the next 2 years and see if he's worth keeping after that.

It's way better to watch live. Watching on TV can be tough. I watch pretty much all Islanders games on Streams and you just have to get used of it.

It's funny guys pointing out Hernandez as somewhat of a missed opportunity and yet can't give rookies 2 years before writing them off.

And Schoen drafted 4 offensive linemen in 2 years and over Half dozen free agents. Gentlemen told us he wasn't drafting anyone and that our line was set. Remember that?

Hockey live is so different than watching on TV. The fucking speed and effort they put in is amazing live.

Baseball is the opposite. Much better to watch in person. Have never watched a full baseball game on TV.

Hernandez was a starter his last year here because Gates and Lemieux had season ending injuries.

If he was worth keeping, we'd have signed him. Schoen has shown that he doesn't care about who drafted you, if you're good he's going to try and keep you.

What's true. Hernandez did not play good football while he was here and didn't deserve to be resigned. It's pretty obvious we had bad coaching. But when you see a guy who stops playing after his initial block, that's not coaching, that's him. 

And just maybe the fact he didn't get re signed and had to go earn another job was the kick up the ass he needed.
