  1. I think for us, he would be a good third round pick. If we sign Madison and a DT we become a contender. Blackmon would be a third round pick who at least helps on special teams and might occasionally play nickel DB for us (but probably not). Maybe when Madison's contract runs out, he's ready to start at DB. He fills that role.

    Here's his scouting report:

I've seen the profile, still not impressed, I'd stay away from him and Hester just because they dont' have a position.

  2. i have tivo, but i dont have it set up where i can watch live tv at the same time i'm tivoing something. i need to buy the splitter for that... i dont get why it doesnt have the capability to watch and tivo at the same time

Because its like having 2 different receivers inside one. Its only getting one satelite feed if you only have one cable so its impossible to have it on two different things at the same time through one cable..... Fuck I feel like I'm at work

  3. Last year they upset #6 LSU in the first round losing to #3 Arizona in the 2nd round. The year before they had a bigger upset, coming out of the 8-9 game against Washington and upsetting favorite to win it Kentucky in the 2nd round. Capped by the highlight of one player getting an offensive board, and throwing the ball full court without looking to a teamate for a breakway dunk (and if memory serves they were twins)

Highlights of the last two years can be seen

  4. Small confreces team suck anyway....

if Utah St. could not win the WAC they do not deserve to be in the tourney

Nevada isn't good? They are a top 20 team playing in the WAC. Lousiana Tech has the leading rebounder in the country for the 3rd year in a row! Thats a pretty good team too.

  5. compare the ratio of good uconn players to bad to the ratio of good duke players to bad who have been drafted. the only busts out of uconn are jake voskuhl and travis knight, neither of which expected to be good. however duke on the other hand...

You expected Dahntay Jones to tear up the league?

  6. if we were the jets would you make a manning like deal for bush? bettin you would.

touche. i've been riding the Reggie Bush bandwagon since last year, so if I'm a Jets fan I'd be happy if they move up for Bush, a move for a QB would be silly IMO because one should be available for them at 4 if thats the way they want to go. If the rumors of them moving Abraham for the pick I would think its a good idea.

  7. good luck getting them in....they got real screwed a few years ago when they were actully pretty good

Yup, only team listed in the top 25 ever to miss the tourney. Another reason why the top 25 polls are useless garbage. Winning out the rest of the season at home and getting a win or two in the WAC tourney should put us in position, but unless we have the auto-bid I'm going to sweat bullets on Selection Sunday

  8. But name UConn players that have been as bad as Duke players...

Also Battier, Dunleavy, and Maggette only had a few good years and are not what was expected

I don't really want to get in an arguement about who the better school is. I'm just saying that its an overhyped myth that Duke can't produce any good pros.
