0-5 teams not going for it an inch from the goal line. Not calling a timeout before a pivotal punt when you’re about to get the ball back.

See that’s what 0-5 teams should be doing. Opponent makes a stupid penalty, bring the offense back on and go for it.

Well would you look at that? The team takes a shot to the end zone in the red zone and scores a touchdown.

I completely agree. Eventually, you have to win with the players you have. You can’t blame rebuilding forever. And just to give an idea of how bad certain portions of the OL actually was. Andrew Thomas gave up 9 pressures. Jones was pressured on 19 of 35 drop backs. That’s horrible. And our first pick was responsible for nearly half of them. Unacceptable.

Baby steps. I was glad to see guards pulling and a more zone blocking scheme.

It’s essentially 4 yards a carry. Since I don’t think that defense is as bad as advertised because they played a bunch of good offenses, I’ll chock it up to better blocking scheme. That’s what it looked like to me.

I don’t think necessarily a turnover. I think the roster has some pieces. Unfortunately, not many of them are on the offensive side of the ball. Defense I think is well coached and schemes pretty well. Would have liked to have seen some help against Lamb though. Bradberry shut down Cooper.

I think I answered my own question why they don’t throw into the end zone, too...no one was open.

The last drive saw Jones scrambling to his right and running himself out of any completions...he was running for his life on the last drive...

Let me just say, Jones throwing to Tate and Ratley is not a recipe for success in this league. They need to spend draft capital on wide receiver or get Allen Robinson in free agency next year.
